I am a Samsung guy and this computer is excellent. The laptop screen is excellent, great video quality. It is extremely quiet and does not get hot. It works well with my Samsung Note smartphone.

What's interesting about Samsung is that they have put some real thought into this computer. The design is superb, the keyboard is very nice, the track pad works great, the screen is not only high defiintion unlike just about anything else out there, but you can actually control the HDR on the screen (I've never seen this before in a computer screen). So what's not to like...the only real thing is that the battery life is not where it should be. It's 4 hours at best and that's only if you turn on all the power savings tools. So if you can live with the shorter battery life, the machine is really nice.

Im a nursing student and needed a computer that was slim and light weight to fit in my booksack and this one was perfect. It is also very fast and easy to use

It's a great laptop. Extremely light. I personally love the pure black color and how well it fits the design. I have had it for a while. It worked smoothly. However, the only issue I had was the battery. It would give out in maybe 4-5 hours. To make it last longer, simply lower the screen resolution or go into power saving mode. But if you're going to lower the screen resolution, it defeats the purpose of spending the extra money for a QHD screen. Might as well just get a FHD screen.

It's a really great laptop. Runs smoothly and does well with multiple programs running at a time. My only issue is that the windows store to download games, apps doesn't really work. There is always some error. Frustrating. I do use it for Dj'ing, and my photography business.

I have had the Spin for over a month and am impressed with it. I did have to return the first one due to the display shutting off when in tablet mode. The second one corrected the issue and the display looks great. Thank you Best Buy for your generous return policy for elite members. The battery life is fair for my usage. However, I don't think it would last long enough for all day usage. I am glad I purchased the Spin and expect to have it for a long time.

Bought this for my husband and he loves it. The build is very premium and light for a laptop. This is a small laptop with super powers, it is an i7. With the ability to flip 360 it's light enough to be a tablet for a bit. The only situation we are having is the slipperiness. We are looking for a grippy skin or cover for it.

The Samsung ATVI spin is much lighter than the Microsoft Surface book and a better value. Apple Macs don't have touch screens and despite being crafted from a single piece of aluminum, just like the ATVI spin, the Samsung ATVI spin feels much more sturdy. With solid state memory instead of a hard drive the Samsung laptop is lightning fast. Also many competitor 2 in 1 laptops, that are in the same weight class as the Samsung use mobile chips like the Intel Pentium while the Samsung uses the latest Intel i7. Since Samsung manufacturers most of the chips, screens and memory that other computer "makers" use in their products, Samsung is able to use all the latest technology for each and every part of this computer and still offer it at a great price. This computer is top shelf in terms of display, weight, processing power, solid state drive, USB ports, HDMI ports, etc. All of the competitors cut corners on some of the technology or have prices exceeding $2,500 to get all of the technology packed into this computer. Aesthetically, the ATVI Spin is beautiful with all aluminum construction and the screen has excellent resolution and bright vibrant colors that don't wash out in bright light. Functionally, the track pad is excellent, the keyboard is back-lit and the keyboard has very good travel. The hinges that allow the screen to fold over tablet mode are very solid (similar to a Dell Inspiron only a bit more sturdy). Other aluminum laptops with real processors get very hot (burn you hot) but the Samsung does not and gets only slightly warm after 2 hours heavy use

Excellent with sufficient port, yet very light and portable. Yoga 900's charger is a disaster. All the controls are at very convenient places, except for the power button, which could have been on the top right or left side of the keyboard. Camera is superb. A fingerprint reader could have been additional feature. Compared to the pros of the product, cons are very minimal. Excellent speed, graphics, resolutions, etc.

I went through three laptops to find this one. I started with an earlier model Samsung on sale for $899 with the same specs i7 processor, 8 GB memory, and 256 SSD drive. It was fast, easy to set up, and nice screen. However, the best battery life I could obtain was at most 4 hours and usually around 3.5 hours. I returned that laptop and found a open box MacBook Pro for an unheard of price and was very pleased with the laptop; but it was a learning curve from using Microsoft for many years. The MacBook was just as fast running aps, not quite as fast for boot up and better screen resolution. And the battery life was around 8-9 hours. I was very happy; however after a week, it lost internet connection and I had to reload the operating system to get it back. But all was well and then about a week later, I had the same problem. MacBook is a great computer and I may have just gotten a rare lemon, especially with an open box. I returned the MacBook and considered purchasing a new MacBook Pro on sale at the time for $1274. I decided to check out the Microsoft offerings again and found this newer Samsung on sale for $799. It is as fast as the previous Samsung and this lasts around 6 hours plus with normal use. My normal use is productivity, youtube, and internet. Compared to the MacBook, the battery life and screen resolution is not as good; however it is as fast and, for me, it uses the Microsoft Operating System which I am very familiar. And comparing the two on sale at the time of my purchase, this laptop was almost $500 less which was a deciding factor for me. At the retail price of $1199, this laptop, in my opinion, is overpriced based on other brands. At $999, it would be a good value and at $799, it is a great value.

This device is a replacement tool for a super smartphone. I have found that it is easier to input and interface with this device.

Exchanged ms surface for samsung 9 . Much better operation than surface. Surface had many problems found no problems with Samsung.

It's only been a month but so far we have gotten along great. It does everything a laptop at this price should do. Very lite, easy to carry, quick on and off. Glad I picked this item up.

Absolutely lives up to all expectations. Samsung has a real winner in its hands. Fast, light, extremely well built, and comes with almost no bloatware.
