I have a G8 is the office and it is awesome. I thought this would be somewhat close. it is not.

Do not buy this if you are a real gamer. In the max frame rate is only 60 Hz I tried switching my game settings to performance mode and it still said only running 60 Hz even while playing 120 Hz games you need a monitor with HDMI 2.1 if you want good response time.

Samsung could save a whole lot of money if they just turned every display onto a series of blank color acreens and scan for anapmolies. But instead customers and employees of best buy have to take extra time returning and exchmaging these monitors. At least the price is very competitive right now.

Very complex setup and not a true 240Hz monitor

For a PC, the setup is extremely tedious, really. The 240Hz refresh rate is only a marketing gimmick and can't actually be obtained unless you manually switch to 'Game Mode' each time. Default colors were washed off and calibration was a pain. Lastly, the stand was very bulky, great if you use it as a TV, but definitely not on a desk. Samsung used to make better monitors, sad to see this trend of trying to bring TV to PC Monitors.

Second one has a weird power issue where it turns itself off and wont turn back on again for 10-20 minutes. Turns off fairly quickly. Going to try and exchange. We will see.

Came with a faulty power supply.

Even with a warranty, replacing would require driving over 3 hours to the nearest Best Buy for a replacement. the gas alone would cost close to $30.

What a nightmare

Change one video setting and I'm waiting minutes for my monitors turn back on. I like to think that I'm fairly tech savvy however they should not take multiple hours to get a monitor up and running.
