Great 1440p Gaming Monitor for the Price

Owned for 11 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve been using the Samsung Odyssey G5 27” since January 24th, and after several months of daily use, I can confidently say it’s been a solid monitor for both gaming and general use. The QHD 1440p resolution looks sharp and makes a noticeable difference compared to 1080p, especially on a 27” screen. The 165Hz refresh rate combined with the 1ms response time keeps everything feeling smooth and responsive, which is great for fast-paced games. I mainly use it for gaming, but it also works well for browsing, watching videos, and multitasking. The curved screen adds immersion without feeling overwhelming, and the VA panel provides good contrast, making darker scenes look better than standard IPS panels I’ve used before. FreeSync helps reduce screen tearing, and I haven’t had any major issues with performance or reliability since owning it. The stand is simple and gets the job done, though adjustability is limited, so a monitor arm might be worth it for some users. Other than that, the monitor has held up well over time and still performs as expected. Overall, if you’re looking for a great 1440p gaming monitor at a reasonable price, the Samsung Odyssey G5 is a strong choice and offers excellent value for the money.

I would recommend this to a friend Monitor stop working after only few uses.

I would buy a different brand and spend a couple bucks more. Whats interesting is the Samsung monitors are always on sale, low quality!
