One of the best 27” 2K 240HZ monitor. Rivaling LG, BenQ, Zowie, and Alienware. However, issue is how heavy the monitor is. Plus it’s curved.

Amazing monitor for 1440p. I recently build my own pc with a 3080ti and I wanted to get a monitor that would let me play at 1440p with good fps and the samsung oddysey g7 offers a 240 hz that allows me to play games at 240 fps and its just what i wanted. It honestly just looks amazing.

It's a ok monitor wished it had of been cheaper. I would wait for a cheaper 1440p 240 hz monitor.

This is the first 1440p monitor I have ever owned and wow it is a big difference from 1080p. I can't really tell much of a difference from 144hz and 240hz but still pretty cool. The lighting on this monitor is also really cool and you can customize it however you want. The curve on this monitor is pretty aggressive and sometimes causes my head to hurt for a little bit but I am getting used to it. Awesome monitor overall and luckily I haven't had any flickering.

This is probably the best quality 1440p monitor at this price. Performs better than some monitors even more expensive. Great for gaming, internet use, videos. The biggest thing that could be a pro or a con depending on how you look at it, is the big curve this monitor has. For me, its a little too curved, one of the more pronounced I've seen. Some people won't mind this, but for most, its a little too much.

This is the most I've spent on a monitor, but compared to my older ones (a 1080p 144hz OMEN and a 1440p 144hz MSI TN display) the difference is immediately noticeable. The colors and brightness are so much better than I'm used to on ther high refresh rate monitors. And although my previous monitors were sold as having 1ms response times they clearly struggled if you actually tried to push them to that point. The image quality was unacceptable. But the G7 seems to do everything I need it to do with ease. Only problem is that for some reason it never seems to work correctly when I first boot up my PC. Sometimes the screen will stay black for a minute or so before suddenly working, other times I have to unplug it and plug it back it or fiddle with Windows display settings by turning HDR on and off to wake it up. I've tried updating the firmware and swapping out cables and still have the same issue so... 4 stars??

I had this monitor for just over a month. I loved the 240hz refresh rate, the contrast ratio, and HDR performance - all of it. I would be giving this a 5 star review based solely on performance. My personal experience, however, was not 5 stars. I am moderately susceptible to motion sickness and after using this monitor for both working from home and gaming for just over a month, I began getting headaches and having vertigo-like symptoms that seemed to be getting worse. After deciding to try another monitor as a last ditch effort to figure out what was causing the issue, I have just connected a standard flat monitor tonight and it LOOKS INVERSELY CURVED compared to the Samsung. That's right - the replacement monitor (an ASUS) is FLAT, but appears curved or bowed. It is the strangest thing I've experienced visually - but is also confirmation that the extreme curve on the Samsung really screwed with my own optics. So I am writing this review as a caution to others that may be similarly susceptible to motion sickness/vertigo. You will likely want to pass on this one due to its severe curvature.

I'm only reviewing because I want the gift card. The monitor is pretty sweet though zero ragerts.

At 240hz and native 1440p, 1ms refresh rate, this monitor should be the golden standard for those looking to upgrade. The color blending is above par, and minimal backlight bleed for a VA monitor. The only weird thing that I run into is that it sometimes reverts the resolution down to something really low upon startup, but once I reset it to native, it's fine. 10/10 would recommend this to anyone who is willing to pay for one of, if not the best curved monitors out on the market!

Wow - this monitor is STUNNING!!!! It makes my ASUS MG28UQ 4k monitors looks like trash. The advanced panel on this beautiful monitor has amazing color sharpness that you cannot duplicate with photos and the 240hz refresh rate unleashes your graphic cards full potential. With a 2k resolution it is big jump from 1080P and keeping away from 4k resolutions allows you to improve the games' quality and frame rate to take advantage of the 240hz refresh rate.

My wallet will say otherwise, but I'm sooooo glad to have this over a cheapo monitor. Goodbye ghosting, I'm off with this fantastic G7! The color output is like eye candy and the 240Hz is incredible on games I can actually run at that framerate. Fortunately, unlike many others though, I don't have a flickering issue, which is great! On top of all that, the thing even has RGB lighting and a headset stand on the back!

This is probably the best bang for your buck given the current market for 1440p 240hz.

Best Monitor ive ever had !! The colors look crazy on this thing regret not buying it sooner

First of all, i didn’t buy this monitor because of its HDR600 label. I could care less about HDR. 265hz with 1440p and 27” of awesomeness is why i bought it. I’m not disappointed at all. From my 590 to my 5700xt, this monitor rips. The curve really isn’t as bad as people say it is. I don’t even notice it during regular use. The ease of switching back and forth between my two systems in my 719 is great. Highly recommend checking this beast out.

Amazing monitor. Update the Firmware and enable VRR. Flicker issues will be gone. If you game in a darker room and want a high refresh rate 1440p panel this is it. Great colors, great contrast. I have yet to experience any smearing what so ever. And the curve you get use to fairly quickly. I HATED curves but this is nice and I cant go back to flat.
