Tldr: solid monitor, decent resolution and refresh rate. Colors arent as bright as they could be but for the price its a good deal. Pros: Resolution up to 4k Refresh rate good enough for most games Can work as both a tv and monitor Has a remote Option to turn on or off the back lighting Built in speakers Built in usb hub Cons: Color definition isnt amazing. Bright colors like reds feel a little more muted than they could be. Most likely rendering on the pixels just isnt as high as it could be. Irritating pop up menu on startup. Its not uncommon in tvs and monitors to have a pop up for settings but every time its turned on it pulls it up and i wish it would just not. Overall a good monitor and im happy to have two of these but i do wish i had the money for better color rendering.

The overall picture quality on this monitor is amazing. The refresh rate is good and the response time is also good. I have had nothing but joy with this monitor except today my display port stopped working with it. It worked yesterday and even earlier today. I always use my computer. Tried two cables but neither worked. gonna try a third and messing with display settings. Thankfully I bought the protection plan for it but I am trying to see if I can fix it myself to see if it’s user error. Will update later if possible.

This is my first high refresh rate monitor. I've always preferred OLED over higher hz. Yes, there is no tearing, but you definitely sacrifice in brightness and colors. I'm sure for gamers/FPS, they care more about framerate than color accuracy. Since I've been spoiled by some nice OLED screens, the screen image does not WOW me. The max brightness is not even that bright. "CoreSync and Core Lighting" is buried in the menu; in fact, it's not even turned on by default, which doesn't make sense. The lights are on the back and there's two more on the bottom of the monitor, but it's faint. 144 hz is finicky. I have to keep toggling the "Game Mode" on/off to get it to work for my PC. (I'm also using dual/triple setup) The menu system is like Samsung TV; it's basically a Smart TV disguised as a computer monitor. No way it's a 5 star product. It's OK.

I’ve had this monitor for a few months, and it’s safe to say I absolutely loathe this thing. As far as image quality goes, it’s excellent. 144hz at 4K is great, colors are great, it’s an LCD panel but it has great viewing angles thanks to IPS. No complaints from me on that front. However, I cannot fathom why there is so much bloatware and a remote-centered UI on a computer monitor of all things. Adjusting settings is a hassle, as are all of the random pop-ups and WiFi prompts. I needed to buy a service remote to disable all of that, but there’s no way to remove the bloatware. I use it with a Mac mini, and there’s roughly a 50% chance the monitor will refuse to recognize the HDMI signal coming from it unless I disconnect the power cable from the monitor and plug it back in, not to mention it also forgets the resolution and settings from time to time. This is unacceptable, and not even behavior I’d expect from a $80 monitor, much less one that’s five times the price. I mainly bought this monitor because it’s the same size as my other (older and more reliable) 60hz 4K monitor from Samsung, but it wasn’t worth it, and now I can’t return this. If you’re considering buying this monitor, keep looking.

I'm thoroughly impressed with this Samsung Odyssey G7 monitor. It's 4K with 144Hz and has Samsung's Tizen OS on it so you can use it like a TV. Turned in on and was watching an NBA game in 120Hz and was really amazed. Thanks BestBuy for offering it at a great price.

The monitor has clear colors, great resolution and the adjustable stand is great. The secondary smart TV capability is also great. Really pleased with this buy!

Really nice monitor for its price. The smart aspect of it is kind of useless if you're using it as a PC monitor but the ease of access it provides is nice. The color, resolution, and refresh rate is great for the price (on sale).

The only issue I have with this monitor is it flickers once when you go back and forth from game mode. If you can get past that than it’s a really good monitor. The display and response time is really good

The Samsung Odyssey G7 28” 4K Gaming Monitor has completely elevated my setup. As my first 4K monitor, the clarity and sharpness are jaw-dropping — everything from games to videos looks crisp and vibrant. upgraded from a Alienware Monitor 1080 HD using Graphics card 3060ti Pros: -Picture quality looks great, u use a 3060ti so not all my games can run 4k Apex Running in 4K is great you can see the quality deff improved COD and FIFA i run in 2k so overall quality for sure is great without having to upgrade my original graphics card -Design is nice, you get lighting back and front -Cool it comes with its own remote, and has wifi you can use smart tv apps looks great -HDMI 2.1 didnt even know it had it when setting up for the price this is a good source to have Cons: -i really dislike how hard it was to find the auto detect switching and how it works between 2 computers (i use work computer and gamin on this monitor and when im trying to switch between sources i sometimes have to manually change it about 50% of the time, the auto switch does not work all the time) SUPER ANNOYING if you only have one source connected im sure this is fine -Again when having 2 sources/computers connected it sometimes stays stuck in black i had to shut down my gaming computer so the source can be changed. I hope this helps you purchase this item overall im 3/5 satisfied, i just HATE having to switch manually from sources and hope this gets updated/fixed soon

I'm glad I bought this monitor!! Exceptional picture with vivid colors and detail. Quick and easy setup... hands down best gaming monitor I've ever owned. I'm so happy with this monitor that I've decided to get another one and use dual monitors. I recommend it for everyone.

Good color, fast response. Brightness could do better couldn't get Display port to work, The remote it comes with turns on my TV aldo so if someone turns on the TV it turns off the monitor.

So far the monitor has been good. Never had one before but now I see the hype around them. Also works great when I’m watching movies on my ps5. Only problem I got mine, pre owned and it was supposed to have everything with it but didn’t come with a remote. I’m a trucker so I was out of that state the same day

Very good quality of picture. I am graphic designer and working with this monitor more than 10 hours a day. Pixels are very thiny, colors are nice and realistic. When I am printing colors are nearly the same what I am seeing on monitor. And my eyes are less tired after I switched from laptop to this monitor. What I didnt like - menu is complicated, first time when I turned on, it was hard to find settings and switch to monitor mode. This monitor have internet, wifi, netflix....., but I didnt need this options, and to find how to switch to monitor mode it was hard for me. Another problem - when computer shutting down, monitor automatically shutting down after 1 minute, but when you are turning on computer, monitor not turns on automatically. You need turn on it manually by pressing on key or remote control. Overall - I am very satisfied, its the best monitor for graphic designer. Problems I listed - for manufacturer to further improve of his products.

Great monitor, couldnt be any happier with the refresh rate and the picture quality. The only issue ive had so far is the screen flicker when i set my monitor to 144 hz with free sync premium pro enabled. Ive been using enhanced sync also and it has helped with that problem. Despite that, i would highly recommend this monitor.

Image quality is very sharp. I love the remote as well. Only thing I’d change would be the UI, it can be a bit tricky to do something as simple as input switching from the home screen. USB-C with PD would be a nice touch.

This is my first gaming monitor and I am very happy with this monitor. The colors are amazing! It displays super smooth! I use this with my PS5 and wow wow wow!! It's sturdy, swivels, tilts, and height adjustable. And the RGB lights are really nice. Speakers sound good. It has Samsung tv built in which was a surprise so you can use it to watch Tv also. So if you are looking for a first time gaming monitor, give this a try!

Great monitor but getting pretty awful horizontal line flickering on the screen when not in 144hz. Unfortunate otherwise a great monitor so far. I do not know if this is a malfunctioning product as I cannot find much info about it.

Honestly for its price i love it. Just be dont enable HDR since it look very wash out. I mostly used it playing woth a ps5 and second screen for work. And the picture quality us amazing. The colors pop. Believe it or not but the built in speakers us good enough that i also ocassionally yse it to watch movies or i dont bother to put my headphones on when i play video games.
