In the productivity part it is very good but has a very poor quality in the image on PS5. It is not worth the purchase for gaming. On my Sony X800H 43 (2020) TV the picture quality on PS5 looks much better than on this Samsung Odyssey G7 monitor.

The only thing i dont like is that youre unable to download extra apps like crunchyroll onto it

The problem is the monitor doesnt always pick up the source. For how much this monitor is, I shouldnt have issues I have been having. I have had this monitor for over a year and regret buying this so much. DO NOT BUY. You can get a cheaper panel with just as good picture for half the price.

Only complaint is that it forgets my xbox connection and doesn't remember 4k settings... I dont know if that's xbox related or the monitor.

This has been the dumbest smart monitor i have ever purchased. Quality control is lacking. Threw this away due to the pain of trying to return of "fix" after 2 years.

The "Smart Monitor" features just kind of ruin it as a _monitor._ It's incredibly slow to turn on, when my Macbook or my desktop go to sleep, the monitor never wakes up with them. The remote is terrible and doesn't have a settings or an input button which makes it basically useless. I couldn't get my Macbook to connect and I had to pull the plug on the monitor to get it back. When it came back, the text rendering on the monitor looked awful. I thought it was a MacOS problem. I searched through the TV settings and found nothing hinting at what the problem was. I then went to inputs and changed the input type to PC... and then suddenly text was readable again. It has a hidden rendering model depending on what icon you apply to the input source. What???

Ps5 works great unless you play warzone then it flickers between settings during game play. Connected a Mac mini pro it doesn’t know what to do or how to connect with it.
