When this was announced at ces in 2019, I told myself I’d buy it. This monitor is something spectacular to game on. I came to this from a 34” ultra wide and I can’t believe I waited so long to upgrade to 49, but I’m glad I did because this setup is perfect. That said, you definitely need a powerful card to run it at full resolution for some games. I have dual gtx1080 cards and it can definitely game but it’s not getting to the FPS necessary for 240hz, but even 120hz looks perfect and is butter smooth. Next upgrade will have to be a new rtx card later this year.

It's just beautiful to look at. It takes 10 minutes to get used to. About 30 minutes to set up. Got rid of 2 monitors that I used for Adobe, and had to try out a game on it. Unbelievable!

This is a great monitor, I did not get one with light bleed. Alot of real estate. i need to get a more powerful graphics card to get close to its full potential. I get an average of 100 on modern warfare using a meg x570, ryzen 7 3800x and a rx 5700xt on ultra settings. Am hoping the new amd graphics card will get me to the high 100s.

Pre-ordered in June. Best monitor ive ever owned. I saw alot of comments and videos about a problem that this monitor has with the screen leaking, some sort of recall. It got me a little worried but, I'm lucky enough to not have that problem with mine! Samsung created a true gaming monitor for enthusiasts!

The performance is fantastic and despite what I've read online I personally have not experienced any issues. I hope I don't regret saying it. I'm getting 130 frames with a 2080 super. Hoping to get 160 when I can get a 3090.

I love this monitor. It is the best gamming experience I have ever had. The only thing you should know before you buy is that you need a RTX 30 series card if you want to do 240hrz.

Bets Monitor out there! This is hands down the best monitor you can have for your battlestation. Games on this thing are so dang amazing. Just make sure you have a powerful GPU to drive it!

This is the ultimate monitor, the immersion during gaming is out of this world. Ordering from Best Buy was a great experience and received the G9 a day earlier. Very happy overall.

for the casual gamer: Pros: -Absolutely stunning visual gaming quality -Robust mount and stand -monitor is relatively light weight for its size -Aesthetically pleasing (looks good as hell) -well priced for its amazing quality cons: -Standard brightness is relatively dim, I got around this by using the NVIDIA settings, cranking it up a little. -lack of external control features -doesn't support an aux out port only head phone jack -Gets pretty warm when using it, even before adjusting the brightness overall, I upgraded from an Asus G35q. This monitor sets an amazing standard for ultrawides and I am very impressed with the quality I got. I highly recommend for casual and pro gamers alike
