Disappointing - buy something else

This is a TV with monitor capabilities. There are numerous reviews, which I decided to take a chance ignoring, in which many people have the same problem as I do; multiple times each session, the "monitor" will loose it's connection to my computer. This is not a graphics card issue; I tested that theory. I will be in the middle of a game or movie and have to get behind my screen, disconnect, and reconnect my DP cable to restore my display, usually multiple times per session. It has gotten progressively worse and I absolutely regret not returning it the instant the brand new device malfunctioned. In the future I will be moving away from Samsung products in general because of their "If it's not working, its your problem" kind of customer service.

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Hello, Best Buy employee here, If you are lucky enough to get one of these that does not have a line or a dead pixel in it this thing is a decent gaming monitor. After calibration the color accuracy is great, the image is not very sharp because the dimming zones are relatively large. If you play any games with subtitles or darker scenes you will hate this thing. I am returning mine because both the first one I received and my second had imperfections in the screen. These are the same issues we deal with from Samsung on a daily basis, if you are a Samsung purist like I used to be trust me their reputation on every display out there is no longer upholded. Very disappointed.

Getting used to view as its 43". I like the options to play xbox cloud gaming, and use it as a Tv although depending on internet quality/speed varies/impacts on image.

Itll cut to black randomly, itll disconnect fully saying “resolution not supported” out of nowhere, it doesnt wake up with my pc when im using display port. Thats just the first three that came to mind. RUN FAR AWAY FROM SAMSUNG PRODUCTS

Or the screen may go black during game play
