This Samsung Odyssey G7 is probably the best Monitor out there, without spending $1200 or more. Great picture, after going thruogh the set up process. You will have to adjust it to your preferance. Smart functions work well, once you get used to it. Overall, great display.

The display looks amazing however sometimes I feel like the smart features get in the way of it being a monitor. I would like an ability to turn off the smart features and have it run a stripped down interface. @500 this monitor is a great deal and you can look past some of the annoyances but I would not pay 1k for it. If you are looking for a great gaming monitor that can also be used for day to day work this is a good choice.

I've seen nothing but terrible reviews for this monitor which made me add and remove it from my cart multiple times during the sale. Why would this be 50% off when all of the specifications were double anything else within the same size and price range. Well, I'm a Best Buy Total Rewards Member and one of the benefits is that I have support to help address any issues with my purchase. I took the chance and after a few weeks, I'm happy that I bought this monitor. I had been holding out for an LG because I really wanted a Thunderbolt connection for my Mac but running my Mac through the Display Port is awesome because I'm getting 120 hz and I'm happy. Not that my eyes would really notice but I'm happy when I see that number in my settings. I use this primarily for work so my work laptop is pushing 60 hz through the HDMI and again, it looks great. I was hesitant about purchasing such a large screen since we've always been told not to sit so close to a TV but wow, work is so much better when you have room to really work. I'm hoping I don't experience issues later with the screen or the software slowdown but that's what my total reward membership is there for. I have my Nintendo Switch hooked up to the last HDMI and wow, it's beautiful to play games with. I don't use the smart functions but I can see how this acting as a TV first might annoy people. it's only an extra click so don't let that deter you. I think I'm driving this monitor to the least of its capabilities so I think the more I use it, the better it's going to be. Take the chance, at $500, you can't beat it.

I bought this on sale for 499, and it has amazing value! Its super bright, great colors, and local dimming support. A recent software update released (Which can be found on Samsung's website, ver 1603.1) fixes the terrible response time people commonly mention. Please note that that specific software update needs to be applied manually via USB drive, not via OTA or wifi. With the software update, the monitor gives great colors and acceptable response times.

Great monitor to pair with my xbox series x, huge difference in playing competitive games comparted to a tv I've noticed. the only down fall is it takes some knowledge and playing with the settings to get the full capabilities out of the monitor. Id recommend hard wiring the monitor directly into the internet and also hard wire the x box directly into the internet to get the fastest best gaming experience. You will need to take the time with the settings on the xbox as well as the monitor settings to make sure you are getting the best possible frame rates and picture. once you have that figured out, perfect. the size is great, picture and speed is phenomenal. Not sure how anyone games on smaller 27 inch monitors,, 43 inches seems just right, not to big, but definitely not small.

Its the perfect size for my needs, I use it for digital design and play PS5, the colors are super vibrant and works at 120hz 4k with the PS5 it’s perfect

Great monitor. Love the size and the resolution is a perfect fit. I have a deep desk and everything it's extremely easy on my eyes. Great price. Would recommend running with at least a 4070 TI Super or better if you plan on gaming on it.

Monitor is pretty much the nicest monitor you could possibly get for the price. It is more of a smart TV/monitor than it is a monitor/smart TV but as long as you only have one input from your PC it works fine absolutely amazing picture while worth the price.

Overall good quality and picture, still a little studder on PS5 and Xbox but depends what the game supports. Work with both but make sure you have a proper cable as you may experience limitations in picture quality or capability otherwise.

The monitor is very good. The quality in pictures is good. A little bit too big for the normal day desk. For gaming it’s excellent. And also for streaming very good. I recommended for gaming. For the price that I paid it’s a good deal.

With half off discount this monitor is a steal. Has a remote like an TV and built in apps like a TV for watching content. HDMI 2.1 for connection to next gen consoles, 4K resolution, displayport 1.4 port for use with a PC. 144 hZ refresh rate and variable refresh rate is great for console and PC gaming which basically eliminates tearing and allows for nice frames per second. HDR really makes it bright. Very light can carry by yourself.

Screen was not great with default srttings but making sure chroma was properly set, along with some tweaks to black levels and contrast, it is now a very nice screen, especially on sale for 500$ new.

This monitor Rocks! Super smooth 144hz, my cat thought it was a window, due to the abosolute flawless picture quality!

Very nice looking monitor but I should have read the reviews not as fast as the 32in that's why they are cheap at times, still not bad picture quality is great.

Only had this monitor for a couple of months, but it is working very well. Basically plug and chug. This is a very big monitor, so if aren't going to watch movies etc. with it, you might want to go with something smaller. Very good video quality, no complaints, so far.
