This thing really Sucks! (In a Good Way!)
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was a little Skeptical of the Samsung powerBOT R9350. Due to the fact that I was looking at the R7070 with the Edge Cleaner. The R9350 DOES NOT have the Edge Cleaner Plus. But I am in NO WAY disappointed. This Baby has Extreme Suction Power. In Turbo Mode, the battery does not last as long but boy does it pick up the dirt. The Select and Go Features of the Bot are top notch. The R7070 and R 7040 Do not have this feature. What it does is make a Floor plan of the house and stores it in its memory. Then ant any point in time, you can recall your "house" Via the Samsung Smart Things App on your phone. You can then select which room to be cleaned, and at a push of a button it does the work for you! But the app does need a little refinement. Its a little clunky and you cannot delete floorplans. Hoping Samsung fixes this with another update. I've had this for about 2 Weeks and I have it run once a day. Mixture of Hardwood, Tile and Carpet. This runs while I am away. Let me tell you that I have never been happier with how clean my floors are. Especially since I don't have to vacuum them by hand. I actually enjoy walking bear foot when I get home now. There is no dirt, debris or dog hair on the ground! The Samsung powerBOT R9530 is a great investment if you can free yourself of a good chunk of change. But if the App could get a refresh, it would be a lot more smoother. P.S I still have not figured out how to get it to work via Google Home. I want to be able to use my voice to control the vacuum. I think I need to do some more research, but I do believe that you might need to purchase the Samsung Hub in order of it to work with Goggle Home or Alexa.

Very nice robot vacuum!!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Has plenty of suction power and keeps floors MUCH cleaner than the traditional method of vacuuming once or twice a week. It cleans as well as my Kirby upright! Has a really nice guidance system and does a really good job of "staying out of trouble!" The battery lasts a reasonable amount of time considering I always use mine on max/turbo (it has 3 suction power settings). Dust container is large enough to handle several cleanings before needing to be emptied. Rarely gets anything tangled in it's brush head but it is easy to remove and clean anyway. My only issue is the "floorplan" layout mapping option doesn't work! It may be because I have only Apple devices right now and perhaps Samsung didn't thoroughly test this ability using an iPhone. So, scheduled, per room cleanings are nonexistent with mine so far. Still worth it and works correctly otherwise.

This Vacuum is OK
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good, not great. It requires sticker tape barriers. The kit comes with one. ONE? Is not enough. I called to get more from the Samsung company which was a hassle and I got at least 7 of these rolls of tape. These tape down to the floor and have a magnetic on top which tells the Vacuum not to pass through. I paid $165 for just these things. Roomba has virtual wall boxes which are far more practical. I like the Vacuum so that is why I kept it. However, be very precise about where you want to clean because she runs into things and gets stuck. You have to Vacuum proof you house. Rediculous. I have 2 roombas and they are by far better manipulators. However, the Samsung robot has a large brush head and different modes of cleaning (strong, medium, quiet). I kept it. Bottom line: Nice vacuum but be prepared to shell out some money if you have areas you don't want the vacuum to go. (For the magnetic sticky tape). Jenny, Fredericksburg, Virginia

tuff guy
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This one is very useful. Especially the spot clean (point a laser dot and it follows it like a cat following a laser dot:) lol If the battery doesn't die out like my iRobot sitting in my garage than I will be one happy camper. My 6 year old son made a mess after eating. I told him to clean his mess. Instead of grabbing the Dyso Hand vac he grab the remote and spot point all his mess and than sent it back home to sleep. It's also very strong it like to rearrange my 4 leg chairs when it gets stuck, kind of funny when the chair is moving around the kitchen:) lol To tell you how much I like this vac, I will be buying 4 new one legged stool so I can keep the Vac:) One minor Con, it uses a thin flat barrier strip to keep it from going to unwanted places (wish it could have someting like a GPS to mark the spot for it to not enter). I don't know if I hate it yet as I don't have a need for this feature yet. If I take it upstairs it would probably work ok. I havent used all it's fetures yet, just used the importaint ones to me, if I do and find it works well mabe I will give it another star:)

Powerful vacuum if you figure out how to charge it
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It really cleans where is able to reach. Meaning it won't clean corners or close to walls. It can't go back to its base and charge on its own. You have to take it to its base and I had to put weights on top of it to be able to charge it because the charging base is really not tall enough to reach the bottom of the vacuum where the charging port is! For what you pay it's really annoying so I returned it. Dies really fast. Also is so tall it can't go under the furniture. The roomba is better I got back to it because even not being as powerful, clean corners, goes under the furniture and charge on its own. I just run the roomba more often so the cleaning quality is the same without the waste of your time. WhTs the point of a robot that can't function on its own?

Perfect little vacuum, except for Samsung Home
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We love Rosie, she comes off her home 3 times a week and does a job we always put off way more than we should have. As long as we do a good job of cleaning up before and making sure there are no traps waiting for her to fall into she works perfectly. The first time she ran she trapped herself under our entertainment center so badly that I really had to work to repair her bumper so the C05 error would go away. Since shes worked perfectly and we are amazed at the amount of dirt she collects in just a couple days. Really my only complaint is, for what you pay, Samsung should really work on making Samsung Home a richer experience. Want to schedule your robot automatically to come out and sweep three times a week? Sorry I don't find that in Samsung Home. Stuff like that seems like a no brainer. Still, would I buy our Rosie again? Heck yes. Now to find someone to do a good job mopping!

Don't Forget the Best Buy Warranty
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My wife and I had another Samsung Powerbot that was 18 months old that worked so well we got this one. The Samsung warranty is not that great, but the Best Buy warranty will be needed. Both vacuums work great (I have bought another one to replace the 1st one because I ran out of parts for the Frankenstein vacuum) and now need to get this one taken care of because of a battery issue that is out of Samsung warranty at 13 months old. I still believe this is the best working robot vacuum on the market and have both set to run every day due to the hair factory of a dog that I also have.

Performs 90% of expectations
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Powerbot does what you expect an item of this design would do ...vacuums the floor well. PROS: The variable suction power is a plus; the downstairs ledge avoidance feature is terrific, and its careful approach to standing objects is impressive. CONS: its height prevents cleaning under cabinet overhangs, it often fails to get out from in between legs of chairs it was able to maneuver into, and the magnetic boundary tape doesn't stop it from going beyond the desired cleaning boundary. It's a good vacuum boat. Its capability requirements just need a bit of tweaking

Good vacuum
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This was my #2 choice but it works for our finished basement. I like that it has a larger dust bin and washable filter. Both advantages over other vacuums; however, it cannot do "no-go-lines" which means it will run over electric cords. :) (My first choice is a Neato D5 as it has "no-go-lines" so it works best for our upstairs areas.) This one still is better than the iRoomba and I tried their top of the line one that works similar.

Works good but not perfect
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I expected this vacuum to get maybe 80% of the house. We have 3k sq. Ft down. Almost the entire house is wood floors and we have two short hair dogs and one cat. Normally we handvac 3-4 times a day in our kitchen area. Now we might touch it up 1 time per week. We do vacuum the carpet every other day at it doesn't always cover everything. Overall was pretty impressed and it's part of our daily routine.

Didn't love it
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this with high hopes but was disappointed. Maybe it was just me but I was not able to get it to map my house correctly. It would consistently get lost and not clean everywhere then the battery would die and I would have to carry it back to the base. I'm a Samsung lover but sadly had to return this item.

One of the best in the Market!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's great for what it does. Improvement points: - In the Turbo mode, the battery does not even last 30 minutes. This is not enough. - The floor mapping function is great. But the user interface can be simplified greatly. - To pair the Vaccum to the home network was very unfriendly in terms of user interface

Powerful vacuum
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great vacuum, powerful. I ordered it with 4 years warranty. Sometimes it sn't well organized in the way it goes. The best thing is the power. At full power, it's last 40min, after it needs 2 hours charge. It finishes automatically its works after charge. The software is correct.

Great So Far
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have this and a Roomba 880 and believe the Samsung is better in almost every way. The Samsung is more powerful, goes in a grid instead of randomly, has a larger bin, and doesn't have as many pieces to clean. However, the Samsung is louder, larger so it can't get under some spots, and the battery doesn't seem to last as long.

Great Vacuum
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Awesome little vacuum, gave this the the wife for Christmas and she loves it, we turn it on when we leave for work and come home to a clean floor. Every once in a while it will get caught up on something but very rarely. Well worth the money and dusting is also rarely done now.

Great Smart Home Vacuum
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A must have for every smart home! The app allows the flexibility to clean one or all rooms from anywhere in the world. We have 2 large labs that lose more hair then they have, it cleans carpet with ease. At times it can bump furniture hard but is infrequent. Overall the power and the app make this a must have.

Wonderful suction!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Wonderful suction, but, it loses it's way all of the time. It really doesn't care much for following the laser remote either and won't map out the house. Overall, does a great job cleaning though.

Great first robot vac!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall easy to use and fast pick up! Better when used with the app. Sometimes has issue with mapping the room. Has the function to control vacuum and take it in the direction you want for spot cleaning. VERY useful!

A cool toy but an expensive one
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It can learn your whole house rather easily, its suction power is sufficient, and its ability to dodge obstacles is impressive. If you’re scared off by the $1100 price tag, I don’t blame you. But if you’re serious about automated vacuuming, go for it.

Good power, ok navigation
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Does a great job picking up with high power suction. However not impressed with how easily it gets stuck on things like chair legs or transfers between rooms. My old Roomba seemed to do s better job of keeping itself out of trouble.
