I wanted a 1TB micro SD but only San Disc makes them. Then I saw reviews about them catching fire and damaging devices. Also saw videos blaming Steam Decks for the problem but it was in fact the San Disc 1TB cards that where involved in the incidents. So I went with the quality brand Ive been using and trust and got this 512GB Samsung. Will be keeping my eye open for whem Samsung makes the leap to 1TB.

No problem with using it on my Samsung A series phone. I don't have the reader. Therefore don't know how fast it is when transferring gb of file on PC.

Seems to work pretty good with my steamdeck. Not sure how but it's getting comparable load times to the internal memory. Worth the price and it's actually 512gb and not 16gb pretending to be 512 :)

This is a perfect memory card for my Steam Deck, expanding my storage to a full TB. The high speed ensures that loading a game from expansion memory is indistinguishable from internal storage.

If your a lucky person that still has an sd card slot on your phone this is one of the largest cards that will fit in a device, it works great and its fast and stores a ton. Win-win

Awesome SD Card! Very fast and reliable. Im using this with my Samsung Galaxy Tab S8+ and is wonderful. Lots of space for media files and to expand the internal storage of my tablet. Highly recommended!

When you buy a Samsung device you expect a quality device and this micro sd card is perfect for use in the Steam Deck. Even though you can upgrade your ssd in the steam deck a fast and high volume micro sd card is much easier to add than an ssd.

It works, what else can be said of a micro SD card. Performance is good. Only negative is the short warranty as compared to other brands.

Im giving it a 5 because it does what it does so far: 6 months in. My real starts will be 4.8 because i was disappointed on not actually having 512GB in the chip, however, thats my dumb brain not knowing enough about chip technology.

I've bought a couple of these now. They are very fast and have, so far, been very reliable. Works fantastic in my Steam Deck, GoPro, and other devices. Surprisingly fast.

Good for steamdeck. However, some games that run inherintly faster on an SSD or the same OS where proton is installed (steamdeck) this will have mild problems. Example: Dead space remake will run slower on this compared to the pre-isntalled storage.

Got this 512gb SD card for my steam deck. Games play well off of it and the speed and size of the card is good.

Great storage solution for nintendo switch if you need somewhere to put games

I like the SD especially for the big storage. Make sure that you format this to exFat (sp) before it is used though so you will have all of the space and it will work with any phone, PC, and Mac.

The memory packs a punch but I'd have liked a better set-up and/or set of instructions from Best Buy sales personnel.

Good price for a good storage device. I put this into my switch and it is more than enough for all the games i want to download and more

My girlfriend had a big horse-based excursion coming up and rented a GoPro Hero 11 for the occasion. It didn't come with an SD card but this little Samsung got the job done. 4k60 without any problems.

This is a perfect accessory for my new computer. Instead of leaving photos and incidental documents on my laptop, I transfer them immediately to this card and enjoy both safe storage and easy access whenever I need it.

Just what i was looking for. 1TB Sd cards are a bit more than i wanted to spend. This was right for the price. Nice speed and is samsung, so its all good.

This micro ssd card downloads data as fast, if not faster, than other micro cards I have. Based on this feature alone makes me highly recommend this card. For the price, you cannot buy a better memory card.
