If your Soundbar is connected to your TV using a HDMI cable, then go into your TV settings and turn OFF HDMI-CEC. This will keep your Soundbar from powering on when your TV powers on.

I went to the store and while I was impressed, it just wasn't enough to go with my new Samsung S90 tv. I happened to find the samsung rep in store and he was really helpfull and explained differences and capabilities to me. He didn't push me to buy one or the other, but after hearing this in store, it was a no brainer. Movies and sports are fantastic. I highly reccomend staying with Samsung if you have a Samsung TV. I didn't think it would, but the Q-Sympony feature definatly adds some immersive sound to the already amazing soundbar. The sub is wireless and so far there is no delay in bass. I do feel like you need to play with the settings to your liking, This bar has a adaptive mode that "senses" your room and adjusts accordingly. I didn't really like it, so I have been manually tuning the settings. I do like the option to add rear speakers if we choose, but right now, this is more than what I was expecting. All in all this is a great sound and features for the price point which in my opinion is on the upper middle end of the soundbar options.
