I purchased the case with the ring which I prefer as I can secure the phone before I take it out of my pocket.

Dangerous! Randomly Turns Volume up to 10!

When it is just sitting on a table charging, it randomly turns the volume up to 10. If the volume is controlling my Sonos system, the entire system turns up throughout my house. If I'm wearing headphones or earbuds, I have to tear them off before it hurts my ears. Contacted Samsung and they told me to throw it away, then they sent me a link to their online store, so no help there.

All good except the metal loop ring

This would be awesome if it was removable. It's a great idea until it's not. Unless you are clipping it to something it becomes annoying quickly.
