This camera is relatively easy to set up for live streaming, but apparently impossible to use to record motion events. I purchased two SD Cards of the type recommended in the User Manual, but neither of them worked. I was never sure that I was even putting the SD card in properly. Samsung support has nothing on this: no videos, no troubleshooting, no explanations of error messages; however, people on the Internet have the same problem. The MySmartCamCloud is a paid service, but I haven't been able to purchase it or use the Free Trial because I am in a weird loop: Signing up I receive the message that my email address is already in use. (I've had the email address since the 90s.) Then when I try to use the Forgot Password, I receive the message "email address not known." For what I paid for 2 cameras and 2 SD Cards, I could have gotten a Simply Safe system.

This camera is great for the money. The application could use a little work though

The cam is great to peek in on the kids when I am at work. The only down fall I can say is, the two way talk is not great you can hear all in house but they can not hear you when you talk. Bit that is not why I got them the app is what made me purchase. Simple easy and safe. Works great for what I need.

I keep getting connection issues. I wish I would have returned it in the beginning. I kept trying to get it to work and most of the time it would. The connection issue seems to come and go. I have reset and tried several attempts to fix. No luck. Just got latest firmware and no change. My wifi is rock solid so I know it is not the problem. A $20 cam from another manufacture that is readily available works better. It may not send the alert as quick but it is always connected. $100 on sale was not worth it at all. Trying to get support from Samsung is a pain. It's not even listed in their drop downs for emailing support. Not happy with this Samsung product.

Installation was a little tricky but after that the product was ok

Its a good product to have for the price but I am left wanting more from it. For example, I wish I could record some video unto my smartphone but it has trouble doing that. You can take a picture of it but no video recording. Overall, I enjoy being alerted on my phone so I can check on suspicious activity. With that said, its a good product.

I like this product for face value. It notifies you for any motion and sends you a screenshot. Overall, its alerts work well and keeps you feeling secure about your place.

Great product solid construction performs as it should

Picture is good but need good WiFi. I like being able to see my house from work. I don’t let Ken that Samsung changed the way I have to format the flash drives now. I have to take them out and put in a pc and convert to fat. Dumb

Purchased this camera to go with our SmartThings hub. Set up was pretty easy and when the camera was recognized all worked as it should. The only negative is the wifi seems to break at distance, causing the camera to lose connectivity. Figured out the optimal distance and all has been golden since.

This camera works great. It has good quality night vision. It is very useful for seeing when my kids get home from school. I would definitely recommend these to a friend.

This is the second camera I purchased works great in any room I put it helps me keep track of the dogs and what they're doing while I'm away wonderful picture

I use this camera when I'm not home to see what my dogs are doing in the house it works great clear picture at all times plus the sound is also good
