Initial install seemed smooth but after a couple of days wouldn’t function, connect or respond to the SmartThings app. Had to remove and reinstall in SmartThings for functionality to regained... just for the issue to return a few days later. After the third time I switched to a different brand and had no troubles since. Just a note, the last generation SmartThings switch still up to this day works and has never given me an issue. But the new ones? Different story.

But I used this for my lamp and a Smartphones button to turn it on. Sometimes there is up to a 30 second delay before the light goes on. It may be the button instead of this plug. Either way they both eventually work for my needs.
