Many appreciate its ease of use and stylish design, while some experienced issues with the unit's reliability and lengthy cycle times. A few users also noted concerns about the door and control panel. Overall, positive feedback on cleaning performance and quietness outweighs the reported issues.

Nice dishwasher, works well. Does open when the cycle finishes, which is a bit strange.

This dishwasher is beautiful. It is solid. Nothing feels cheap about it. I love how quiet it is when it runs. Our dishes get very clean and come out dry. Bonus: the door opens when the load is done. I love the timer feature. The top rack is perfect for all my kids. I like how there are 2 sections for utensils. Easy to load and unload. I can’t believe I’m this thrilled about the purchase of a dishwasher, but I truly am. Our last dishwasher was 400$ because we were being cheap. It lasted a year. I’m happy we invested in something so much nicer. This was a great pick.

Wth Samsung? My 12 year old GE cleaned better. I give one star because I love the Tuscan color and my dishwasher is actually quiet but holy crap it does NOT clean dishes at all! In fact the whole inside dishwasher ends up being dirty too.. and we switched to the top recommend detergent and it’s so bad still. Horrible.

Keeps up with my baking business

I have an in-home baking business and run dishes constantly. My last dishwasher was so terrible I had to pre wash all of my dishes and I basically only ran the machine to sanitize my equipment.
This new dishwasher is a complete dream comparatively. I can put nearly any dish in and it comes out clean, even butter-covered bowls that would have previously had a greasy residue. (As an aside, I have used rinse aid for every load). The standard run time is a little long at about 2.5 hours, but there is a 60 minute express wash that does a decent job. The third rack has been perfect for all of my silicone spatulas and piping tips that may have otherwise been too tall or small for my last washer.
You can hear the washer if you're listening for it, but all in all it's pretty quiet. When the cycle is done the door pops open so the dishes can finish drying. Mine did this the first week or so after I bought it, but has since stopped popping open. Not a deal breaker as my dishes still dry, but it was nice to know definitively when my dishes were done. Even though the control panel is on the top of the door, you can still peek in between the counter and the washer to see the countdown time on the menu.
Because of the third rack there isn't as much clearance between my bottom rack and the spinning arm thing on the bottom of the second rack, so I can't machine wash some of the cookie trays I used to be able to run the washer. This paired with the door not opening at the end of the cycle is why I gave this 4 stars instead of 5. All in all this is a great washer, definitely a worthwhile purchase.

Fatal Design Flaw

Was initially very happy with this dishwasher but after the 1yr warrantee a design flaw caused us to not be able to push the bottom rack in. Samsung even acknowledged that it was not the fault of the user but refused to do anything about it because it was deemed unrepairable and out of warrantee. I could understand if it was user caused or 5 years but this is very poor support. So if you buy this, expect to replace it a year or two later at your own expense. I wouldn’t even buy it with extended coverage. We will not be purchasing anymore Samsung products.

Cleans Like a Champ – Quiet, Sleek, and Reliable

I’ve had the Samsung StormWash 24” Dishwasher for a while now, and it’s been nothing short of excellent. The cleaning performance is top-tier—everything comes out spotless, even dishes I used to pre-rinse with my old unit. The StormWash feature really does make a difference on tougher messes.
It runs very quietly at 48 dBA, which was a must-have for my open kitchen layout. The AutoRelease Dry is a great touch—helps dishes dry better and prevents that musty smell some dishwashers get after a cycle.
The third rack is a surprisingly useful bonus for utensils and smaller items, and the adjustable middle rack adds even more flexibility. It looks sleek, fits in beautifully with my other stainless appliances, and the top controls keep things minimal and clean.
No issues so far—it’s been reliable, efficient, and a great upgrade from my previous dishwasher. Highly recommend it if you want solid performance and modern features without overpaying.

It is so quiet! We still mistake the noise for being a cell phone receiving a text message on vibrate mode hidden somewhere, when we walk into kitchen! Don’t waste the money on lower decibel products- this is all you need. Dishes clean spotlessly- no soapy film residue- not even on wine glasses! Don’t be fooled by the reviews that claim otherwise; I almost let those reviews change my purchase decision. Clearly, any buyer that claims this dishwasher doesn’t yield spotless clean dishes, do not pre-rinse food particles off before loading (and will be buying another dishwasher in two years for such poor handling care intelligence). The automatic opener (upon cycle completion) feature is incredible. Gone are the days of worrying about mildew or the smell, thereof, because you are at work when the cycle ends. I do have one negative criticism regarding the top rack design. It might not affect you, depending on your dishes; but, we cannot fit a glass over a pint size on the top rack. We use tall 16oz glasses and the blender containers for our ninja, often. Now, I have to hand wash those or utilize the prime space on the bottom rack and hand wash mixing bowls or casserole dishes. The third rack does clean serving utensils impeccably; however, our personal preference would be to fit the less desirable hand washing dishes on the top rack and forego the third top rack. If they designed it to make that third shelf removable for user preference, it would be the perfect dishwasher!

This dishwasher DOES NOT CLEAN. I have tried various dishwasher options. Plates on the first rack and glasses on the second rack do not get cleaned. I use a rinse aid as required. Today I even tried running the RINSE cycle BEFORE I ran the HEAVY Load with HI-TEMP options with dishwasher detergent. It stinks!
Save yourself the headache and try another brand. We had an LG before this dishwasher. Samsung does not cut it in the dishwasher business.

Looks amazing, washes very well, dries pretty well, can be a pain to install even with the right tools and knowledge. Mine came up with a leak detection error once it was in, Had to dissconnect power to clear code, but that was no big deal. Many people are concerned with the sound while running, i would assume there might be an install problem, maybe, cause this this is super quiet. Many people are concerned with the drying, this unit will dry pretty well, all glass gets cleaned and dried, some plastics may hold water in a lip or low spot. The cycle time does take quite a while for regular and pots and pans, the display says like 3 1/2 hours, which is fine, we set it before bed, let it run at night, and wake up to clean dry dishes.
I only took a star due to the complicated install process, and because this unit basically requires jet dry liquid.

The Samsung StormWash Dishwasher is amazingly quiet and does a superb job cleaning dishes, glasses and silverware. It is easy to use, holds more items than our previous dishwashers and the third rack comes in handy for holding larger cooking utensils. We were a little skeptical about the AutoReleaseDry and it seemed a little strange to find the Dishwasher door open at the end of the cycle but it is a great feature.

This dishwasher does a great job cleaning the dishes. We like almost everything about it. Tableware doesn't always come out clean, especially knives but we've found this to be true of almost every dishwasher that we've owned. It's amazingly easy to unload and I like that I can adjust the tines so that I can wash large dishes and pots and pans. I also enjoy the tune that plays at the end to let us know that the dishes are washed and dry. I only wish I knew the name. The dishwasher does a great job of drying by the way. We seldom have to use a towel.

Very quiet dishwasher, cleans dishes really well and is visually pleasing. The door automatically pops open when cycle is done to help dry dishes. It also plays a little tune when cycle is finished. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because the shortest cycle is 1 hr. The rest of the cycles are between 1hr-3hrs.

GOOD UNIT WITH A FEW NOTATIONS

My Bosch dishwasher finally did its last wash and I had planned on replacing it with the same. Unfortunately not one Bosch model was available. So I settled on a Samsung.
So my review is really in comparison of the two. The Samsung seems a little less solid, though time will tell how it holds up. The Samsung silverware caddy doesn't fit my forks or spoons; this wasn't a problem with my Bosch. But the Samsung has a 3rd rack on the top which holds silverware, and I'm actually liking it better since my silverware is sorted already when I unload it.
A minor annoyance with the Samsung is where the detergent dispenser is located. The Bosch had its dispenser at the top of the door, the Samsung is located in the middle of the door, which puts it at the same level of certain dishes placed in the lowest rack. Once I've had it catch on a bowl, so it didn't reach the bottom of the dishwasher and just ended up a mess on the door. And because the dispenser ends up under the lower rack when it's pulled out and being loaded, you have to be careful fluids don't drip and remain in the dispenser or else your pod can get stuck and not drop down.
But saying all that, it cleans very well, dishes are completely dry, and without water spots. The unit is reasonably quiet. Time will tell now how well it holds up.

This is my 3rd dishwasher .first one was defective, second one was damaged when the installers opened the box . 3rd one they didn’t put in the clips that hold the dishwasher in place and didn’t have a click plate so you see the screws . I am sure the installation people knew this and didn’t disclose this information before they left .not happy

We bought this dishwasher to replace a 10 year old KitchenAid. That KitchenAid circuitry was destroyed three times because water got into the circuitry. Wouldn’t you expect your dishwasher to be able to keep the electronics dry? So far this one is working well. It is quiet and so far very nice. It is very different than any dishwasher we have ever had. I was a bit reluctant because 1) it does not have a heating element in the dishwasher but instead hooks up to the hot water supply and 2) it automatically pops open at the end of the wash cycle. It pops open to assist with the drying of the dishes. But the dishes are getting clean and they are for the most part dry at the end of the cycle. I would give this five stars for it’s performance so far but I reserve one because the true test of quality of a product is how many times you need to pay to have it serviced through the years.

Excellent product. It's relatively quiet and worth the money. The dishes come out clean with no soap residue. The automatic open feature at the end of the cycle is a nice feature to have to help dry the dishes and let air circulate in. I was a little skeptical on the necessity of the 3rd rack but it's proven to be useful with small silverware. The height adjustment that can be made on the rack is noce as well. Raising the rack up so the bottom rach has space for salad bowls or larger bowls is a nice option.
