Having recently purchased a Samsung 75” QLED TV (QN75QR), figured our 10+ year old DVD player would be technologically disadvantaged at producing the picture quality expected from the QLED TV. BB had the Samsung DVD player on sale, Samsung had sent me a $50 off coupon, did a little research and decided to purchase the DVD player, along with the 4K HDR DVD, 2001: A Space Odyssey. After hooking up the DVD player and going through the easy setup process, popped in the Space Odyssey disc and the picture was just like I remembered it in the movie theater! The picture was crystal clear and the detail was wonderful. Sound quality was also excellent, but that’s due to the Bose Soundtouch 130 sound bar system. Admittedly, we don’t watch many DVDs, but with the new TV, you know... Also, Samsung has announced it’s exiting the DVD business, so if I wanted a Samsung DVD player, better get one while they’re still available. Basically, it does what it’s supposed to do.

My last Samsung Blu-Ray player finally wore out after several years, and I needed a replacement. I decided to go all out and get a 4K player, and this Samsung was my top choice. And a good choice it was. Easy to operate, easy to install, and great picture. Samsung has really improved the menus, and this is a joy to have. Its definitely worth the extra dollars to go 4K.

Very satisfied with unit. Acquired two of these units and they were worth the price. Have been a four decade old die hard loyal Sony customer, but the past three Sony 4K players purchased have been a major disappointment in quality and service. Read the reviews indicating this Samsung device was worth a look. I was not disappointed.

Got the samsung 8000series 4k tv and bluray, faster refresh rate, smooth picture, great depth of image, even the dark shots are clear and crisp. Love it.

This 4K Blu-ray is nice and easy to set up. Just plug it in to your TV and it will guide you through the steps. I like this one better than my last one.

Has all one need to watch 4k movies and good sound and good price.

As an owner of several Samsung TV's, this 4K player is kick butt. The only thing is, it is slow loading movies.

I have watched a few movies on it looked really good. I bought a gold monster HDMI cable haven’t watched any since that upgrade. Def a good player.

This device delivers really sharp image with good color stabilization. Wifi connectivity is impressive and saves space between my cluttered wires.

We love our new Samsung Blu-Ray player that works very well with our new Samsung TV!!! We also added a sound bar to improve the sound quality!!!!

THE SAMSUNG 4K BLU RAY PLAYER HAS PERFOMED EXCEPTIONALLY WELL. THE PICTURE IS WONDERFUL NO MATTER WHAT TYPE OF DISC YOU ARE VIEWING...DVD, BLU RAY, OR 4K. THE FUNCTIONALITY IS USER FRIENDLY. WE LIKED THIS SAMSUNG SO MUCH THIS IS OUR SECOND ONE TO PAIR UP WITH OUR SAMSUNG 4K TV. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

The 4k DVD player has been nothing but great since we have taken it out of the box. A great solution for when you can't afford a 4k television!

It is definitely an amazing picture. There have been some times when the sound crackles and when you pause it comes back out of sync with the picture. I don’t regret the purchase and I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

I purchased this player to use with a new Samsung 4K HD TV. I am not using the smart hub or streaming features since I use the TV streaming feature. Easy to set up and great picture including the up-scaling of non 4K HD DVDs. Be aware that the set up process will force you to set up WiFi in order to complete the installation even if like me you don't plan to use it.

Samsung has done it again with another fine, dependable product. My son bought this player two weeks ago and I watched it as much as I could to decide if these "old" eyes could see a difference. 4K disks are so clear and life like, it's like stepping into the movie. Everything, including standard DVDs, are upgraded to a near in-life viewing. A fine investment !!!

This dvd player upgrades regular dvds or bluray to a much better picture.Use with a 4k cable for better sound and picture.I would recommend.

Bought this to go with my Samsung 4K tv. Easy to use and easy connection to the tv. Also bought a Samsung sound bar. All work well together.

If you have a 4k TV this is a must buy!! Great picture output and the menu is easy to use. Also nice to have the smart features available.
