This was not stated when I bought it and merely said open box. Not even that but just as it is without even a generic brown box.

It works great for the DVDs, however the product causes the 4Ks videos to skip and pause and blur the picture. Even though I am grateful for the product, I am disappointed to know that I can't watch my 4Ks on this.
