Stunning video and audio. 4K is worth the price of admission.

This purchase was a perfect match for my new 4K TV ... the cost was competitive .... product was recommended by one of the customer associates at the store..... it was very simple to hook up and is compatible with my phone ...

Great picture quality and easy to navigate. It will randomly cut sound for about a second and once it a while randomly shuts off without touching anything. The problems are rare and and when its working it does work great

We like it so far, still learning about features. It connects with our new tv, which is also 4K. The picture is great.

The only negative feedback would be the price. I did not purchase this blu ray player while on sale. However, the quality of the picture is amazing. I also love that the remote for my Samsung tv controls the player as well. This is very simple but that added convenience does make a difference. I am glad I made the purchase.

It's a simple, sleek design that does the job well. I like how the CDs show the list of songs on TV. The buttons don't actually push in, so I guess they can't physically break, but it plays games with my mind about weather I pushed the button or not. For a split second, I always think I need to push it again, but I never do.

Easy to use interface and flawless design I love it

I realize Blu Ray players are on the way out with so many streaming options, but this was on sale at Best Buy and I decided to purchase it so our family could view disks we have in our collection. No fuss set up with our new Samsung TV, and works great. Glad I spent the money so our library of movies can still be viewed!

I was a little surprised by the special Black Friday pricing of $160 but when I saw it was originally $399, I thought must be a great product. We’ve had our Samsung 4K tv for a couple of years now but it was until recently 4K movies were being released. Overall it’s still a DVD player and does was it needs to do.

We have had a Samsung 4K 55" TV for some time, and have waited for the price on this player to drop. So glad I got it. 4K content -- mainly DVD and now YouTube (if you have good internet speed) is really beautiful, as is the sound. After we viewed a 4K movie the regular HD was a little less exciting.

I have 2 other Samsung Blu-ray players and happy with them. This higher end version is much faster loading Netflix. Another product worth spending more for.

Great product from Samsung... simple installation. No issues or problems. Upscales old non-blu rays... visible improvements and Blu-rays look great of course. 4K is outstanding. Very satisfied.

Bought a new Samsung 4K TV and needed a quality blu-ray player to go with it. I have had great luck with Samsung products in the past and never hesitated to buy Samsung again. This is my first experience with 4K Ultra HD and have to say I'm impressed with the quality of this product.

I bought this item along with the samsung 4k TV. Everything works perfectly together. This player is just basic, has no other features. So far, picture quality is good and the remote is synced with the television remote. Therefore you can use one remote to operate both tv and blue ray player. If it would record it would be a better purchase, however, it is good enough to enhance your viewing experience.

So far it does what it is supposed to do. I haven't tried Blue Ray yet. Setup was easy.

The Samsung - UBD-M8500 Streaming 4K Ultra HD Wi-Fi Built-In Blu-ray Player was easy to set up and to use. Great picture, but you do need a 4k TV to get best results.
