This DVD player works great! We’ve had zero problems with it since we bought it. I would recommend it to someone. They only dislike is that it doesn’t have a power indicator light at all. i.e.: the little red blinking light that blinks when you turn it on. You really have to go by sound to tell whether it’s initiating the disc . It’s budget friendly and not huge or chunky . Streamlined . :)

if your looking for simple Blue Ray player to watch your movies this is it. You don't have to worry about confusing wiring and cord hookup. You can go from box to watching your movie in just a matter of minutes. Just what I was looking for.

This Blue-Ray Player is great. No issues at all. Picture is very clear, especially on an HD tv. I would recommend this to anyone. It is even better when paired with a Samsung TV because you can just use 1 remote for both.

We purchased this Samsung - BD-J5100/ZA - Streaming Blu-ray Player - in Black when our existing Blu-ray player died. It is so thin and sleek. About half the size of our last Blu-ray player. The streaming capability part is new to us. Originally, we did not have an ethernet cord to set it up with. We still need to hook that up yet, but all is going well with the Blu-ray player. Because the size is small, so are the buttons on the front of the machine, but we use the remote most often anyway and it doesn't bother us.

I love everything Samsung so I was naturally drawn to another Samsung product. The apps are exactly what I wanted and the price was right even though there was a cheaper model that offered more.

This blu-ray player delivers high definition picture and works on with other devices such dvds,cds, and even has an internet connection for netflix,pandora,hulu,youtube . Good value for a low price!

Samsung makes great products. The TV is easy to operate and the picture outstanding. The sound and picture on the Blu-ray player is exceptional. With our surround sound system, it is just like being in a theater except we can control the volume.

Wasn't sure about this one. Tried it on my Roku TV, it works, but 1 Con: no power light, however I tried it on my Samsung TV, perfect. Compatible with TV remote. Perfect. Great Holiday price.

I love my Blue Ray DVD. The picture is crystal clear. Its like the person is coming off the screen. I compared my Blue Ray DVD with my regular DVD. The Blue Ray is hand down the best. I would recommend the Blue Ray over the regular DVD.

Right out of the box this DVD player worked perfectly and mybSmaet TV and the DVD player knew how to connect together! I didn't have to do a thing. The pictures has amazing clarity and color. I would definanately recommend this product.

We bought this device because we bought a new TV and we needed to connect the HDMI cord from the TV to the DVD player. It is a great DVD player, simple to use with great resolution.

Bought this Blu ray player for my mother for Mother's Day. If you're looking for a non-expensive player that will play Blu Rays and DVDs and is easy to set-up then you will not be disappointed.

Lots of bang for the buck with this one. Highly recommend for anyone needing a small footprint Blue-ray. Lot's of features with software. Needed this for my RV and it works out great.

The unit itself is quite small and light, with a power cable integrated into it. It's done what I bought it for without fuss, which is to say play content off an attached drive via the USB port. This port supports up to 2 TB drives and hasn't had trouble with any of the files played yet. Thus is serves me as a workaround for a TV which has had it's own USB-media player fail. I haven't tried the internet related functions yet but a wide array of apps are available. The player starts up quickly to an easy-to-browse menu. As stated in other reviews, there is one quirk here in that the unit has no power light.

I have a Sony Blu-ray player but needed another one for my room. This Blu-ray player was on sale and was a little worried because I love my Sony so much but wanted to save some money so I decided to look online and read a couple reviews and everybody else seem to like it so I thought I would at least give it a shot. I feel that it is comprable to the Sony Blu-ray player and then it's simple to use and a good quality

Bought for my daughter for her dorm room. Small,compact, great quality, easy to use for a low cost/ Her and her roommates love it.

Easy to operate, excellent price for the features. Nice design and doesn't take up much space.

I had a Sony before this and it lasted about 6 months and would no longer play any movies. So far this has worked well with no issues. Not sure I'd go back to Sony. Great alternative.

Great features! Love that it has Netflix and it connects directly to my Samsung tv and I don't have to change input just power on blue ray and it connects to the input automatically.

So we bought the Sony blue ray players but they didn't have wifi. They needed a land line. Craziness. But we took em back and got two of the Samsung player. Straight up awesomeness. Made our dumb TVS smart. Haha. Great purchase.
