Very good blue ray player. The only thing that I found I did not like is it does not show you that it is on, it never gives any kind of lights to indicate that it is on, you have to remember which HDMI port it is in and then once you hit the eject you can see it on the screen. the remote that comes with it is a bit confusing as well with two power options at the top, but the rest of the remote is easy to understand. However if you can get over those issues it is a very good player. Beats having to by a PS4 or PS3 to play blue ray movies :)

It plays blu-rays discs with great picture quality at a great price from a brand name you can trust. And it has some apps and streams. Woot!

Great buy! Plays Blurays and DVDs and has WIFI to stream media and has pre-installed apps, pretty much plug and play not complicated at all.

I love this blu-Ray player! Most of my collection is DVD so I really appreciate that this player upconverts those to HD. I currently have this connected to a smart tv so I don't often use the smart functions on the player, but I sometimes move the player to my other, non-smart tv which essentially turns it into a smart tv. If you need a new DVD/bluray player and don't want to dish out money for a new smart tv this is perfect.

The unit is very easy to use. Saved some space compared to the old larger unit. Pricing was fair.

Admittedly, I am not a computer/electronics person. But I love watching TV, and DVDs/Blu-rays!! (I was one of those who always knew how to set the timer recordings on the original VCRs. You learn how to do what's important to you.) This Blu-ray player was purchased to go along with the 32" Samsung Smart TV in our bedroom. Electronic devices and I generally do not get along very well. Like our Smart TVs, the Samsung Blu-ray player likely has features that I don't even know about and therefore don't use. But for straightforward watching a movie, this Blu-ray player is easy to use. That is paramount with me, along with the picture quality being as good through the Blu-ray player as it is with just the TV. Sometimes you just care about the basics. And for that, the quality and price can't be beat.

Salesperson suggested these for my two nephews. They are great! Clear picture, easy to connect and setup. Even make regular DVDs crisper. My only suggestion to the manufacturer (Samsung) is to package the item WITH an HDMI cable. Good thing the salesman knew they were not in the box and advised me to get them. i bought the extended warranty, although I have a lot od Samsung products and have never had a problem with any. One is 10 years old and still works as good as when it was new.

My PS3 recently died on me and I was looking for a good reliable Blu-Ray player to replace it. I decided to buy a stand alone player because I am not much of a gamer as I was before, and because of my 3DS. I found this Blu-Ray at Best Buy one day and I bought it because I the price, and there are no regrets. The player produces a good sharp image and it can bitstrim all the high definition audio. The best of all was the price, and this payer is much smaller than my previous PS3.

This player is excellent. We needed a player in my living room but we didn't have enough hdmi ports to support all of our devices. Swapped out our Apple TV for this, and though it doesn't have as many streaming apps, it still has Netflix, Hulu and Amazon. Which is all we were using in there anyway. Great buy for the price. No lag and boots up immediately. I would highly recommend!

I purchased this because i just updated my star wars collection to Bluray I had a sony one but, I have a new samsung 4k tv so wanted to stay with the same brand. It was super easy to hook and the sales guy was helpful. My tv has all the aps so i did'nt need them on the bluray player. Happy so far and I can use my tv remote on the Bluray player for easy interface.

Bought this blue-ray player since I had 35 reward certificates to use up and needed a new one for our bedroom. I always buy samsung since it seems to be a reliable company. So far its great. Its small, easy to use, and looks great on our samsung 4k tv. Plus its a good price!

Great picture, easy to navigate and reasonably priced! Everything I was looking for in a Blue-Ray DVD.

This unit is a good purchase. It was my first bluray purchased for myself. I have had a few others. This one was easy to set up and install. The only improvement I would recommend is a WiFi connext for the apps. Since my connection is in another room I was not able to fully use the apps.

Easy to set up and use with Samsung TV and remote. NOTE THAT THIS IS NOT A WIRELESS STREAMING PLAYER, which is what I actually thought I had bought. My fault for not reading the specs more closely. Would have returned it, but don't really need the wireless because the TV has it, so we decided for the price, we'd keep it.

Easy setup. Smart capability. Doesn't include WiFi will need a wired connection. Terrific price.

this blu ray works just fine. The only draw back is that it is not able to connect to the internet via wifi. It has to be hard wired in, but you can't expect all the bells and whistles for $65. The remote is easy to navigate with. Small footprint, especially compared to the first gen bluray player I have in my bedroom. Quiet and fast starting.

For the cost, this is a decent blu-ray player with extra apps. It's compact, it runs well, and I didn't have any problems getting it set up on my network. For the price, it's a good entry-level blu-ray player.

I bought this for my elderly father. He is not tech savvy so I skipped the WiFi model. This has proven to be an easy set up and very straight forward operating system. My father can easy operate it and the remote is very simplistic. I would recommend this to anyone but especially to those who want a very easy to use DVD player. The picture quality is great too.
