Bought this unit for its ability to do streaming. Have it hardwired to my home network. DVD playback is very good via HDMI port. Streaming works nicely also. This unit replaced a very old Sony DVD player.

This product takes up little room on my stack, runs quietly, has fast responses, recreates images and sound brilliantly and was comparatively inexpensive. It installed in a few minutes. I'm quite satisfied.

It's very easy to install and even easier to operate. It's extremely quiet and doesn't have a power button light which I like due to the fact that enjoy watching tv in complete darkness. Love the price too.

Needed to replace my 10+ year old Samsung DVD player. Went to Best Buy, told them that I just wanted a high quality but simple Samsung DVD player (wanted Samsung so that I could network to my Samsung TV). They recommended this model. It was inexpensive, had all of the features that I needed/wanted, installed in a flash, and performs great.

I really like our new player, it's quick and easy to use. I don't like that there is no light to see that it's on. So I've left it going for a few days before.

We were in need of a blue ray player quickly. looked on line and it was at the store. Reasonably priced and it was in stock. It works great for what we need.

Great product. You can even use it to view individual video clips and picture files that have been burned to a disc!

Bought this item for older mother who wanted something not too complicated to use.It provided good picture and simple operation. Very good for the price.

This is a solid player if you are not ready to upgrade to 4K discs. Note that the the 1080p blu ray format is still going to be around for another 5 years at least and not all older films from the past that made it to Blu Ray will be upgraded to 4K. Also if you are a fan of the Criterion Collection they have no plans right now to upgrade their discs to 4K so you will still have many years of use if you purchase this player. That said I like the curved shape and the menu system of the Samsung which cost a few bucks less than the Sony but is just as good. I went with the non-built in WiFi version because I have ethernet cord access for streaming and firmware updates. Once you set up the player to 1080p/24fps and update the firmware to the latest version via ethernet you are all set to playback all the latest and vintage Blu Rays discs plus stream in HD from the main services including Netflix. A must for all who have large Blu Ray libraries and want to upgrade to a new player if your current player is having issues.

Purchased for my parents who aren't as tech savvy as me. They are pleased and say that it's easy to work and they are thrilled with the options available. Great and reasonably priced choice.

Fast set-up. Easy to operate. Excellent picture quality. Regular DVDs are up-converted for enhanced picture. Did not use streaming feature.

I bought this Blu-ray player for my in-law and she loves. It is very user friendly for senior. The color and image are sharp. Very easy to setup. The price is reasonable.

This is the first Blu-Ray player I've ever had and I absolutely love it it is very easy to use and the movies show very clear and good I wouldn't ever go back to a regular DVD player.

This blu-ray player is very easy to use. The only thing I dislike about it is that it has no readout on the player itself.

This is an excellent player for the money that has worked flawlessly since I've owned it. I especially like how in integrates with my Samsung TV. While some people say it would be nice if it had a light to show if the power is on, with my Samsung TV, as soon as I turn the player on it automatically switches to the dvd input so I know its on and when I turn the player off the TV goes back to the television program automatically as well. I don't have to hit anything but the power button...Can't see how I could have asked for more unless I did not have a Samsung TV too but still even then it would be a great value for the money
