Rear speaker volume adjustment

Even though they give instructions on how to control the volume to these rear speakers I added to my soundbar. I have yet to be able to adjust the volume. They are working but practically inaudible. My old surround sound system worked better than these and were MUCH easier to control volume.

Thank you for sharing your review regarding the SWA-9200S Wireless Rear Speaker Kit. Your experiences will be shared with our internal teams.
Once this kit is connected to a compatible Samsung soundbar, the soundbar remote is then used to control the volume level of the rear kit. Press the Sound Control button on the soundbar remote (looks like a gear), then select REAR LEVEL and use the Up/Down buttons to adjust the volume within a -6 to +6 range.
Also, make sure that the source (e.g. TV output) is sending surround channels to the Soundbar. If the source is not capable of surround, then set the Surround mode to OFF on the Soundbar by pressing the Surround button on the remote. If the source has surround channels, select the desired Sound Mode from the Soundbar remote.
You might want to try turning off Dynamic Range Control. This is done by pressing and holing the Sound Mode button while the Soundbar is in standby mode. Depending on your soundbar model, you may or may not have DRC.

Good not great but great value

Sound is a little thin but still provides overall better sound experience than the bar and sub alone. Definitely recommended. Shipping was fast and flawless.

So I went ahead and purchased the Sub-Woofer and these rear speakers. This is a must-have!! The sound is incredible. I also like to mention that I saved a lot of money by purchasing there open box in excellent condition. It was all brand new and looked like is was never really opened. Works for me.

Im not sure how i watch shows before buying these. I will never go back the surround sound adds to the experience I feel like I am immersed in the movie.

Pair them wirelessly to your sound system or sound bar and forget them. No fine tuning, no volume control to worry about it. What is best, is that these speakers are compatible with almost all wireless speaker ready Samsung bars and sound systems even if they might not be in the compatibility list this also include the Samsung Televisions that are capable of pairing wireless speakers. Before you decline them, give them a try.

The SWA-9200S Wireless Rear Speaker Kit is exclusively compatible with select Samsung Soundbars and will not pair with a TV by themselves. The Soundbars that will pair are: the HW-Q600B, HW-Q60B, HW-Q6CB, HW-S60B/HW-S61B, HW-S50B, HW-B650, HW-B550, and HW-B450.

If you press the CH LEVEL button on the remote when your rears are paired, you will be able to adjust the REAR LEVEL between -6 to +6 by using the UP/DOWN buttons.

Great for smaller rooms

Owned for 6 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Be sure to read the specs, these speakers cannot even be heard unless the volume of the soundbar is turned up >10, and they need be placed pretty close to your listening seat. they do what they're designed for but nothing else. I would recommend these for desktop use if you're able to position them close to, if not directly behind/beside your ears. They're by no means designed to medium to larger rooms

By design, the surround speakers are supposed to simulate sounds happening behind the viewer. Therefore, most of the time the surround channels are only used for ambient sounds, which are naturally lower in volume.
However, there are a few settings you can change to adjust the surround effect to your preference:
1) Make sure that the source (e.g. TV output) is sending surround channels to the Soundbar. If the source is not capable of surround, then set the Surround mode to OFF on the Soundbar by pressing the Surround button on the remote.
2) If the source has surround channels, select the desired Sound Mode from the Soundbar remote.
3) Turn off Dynamic Range Control. This is done by pressing and holding the Sound Mode button while the Soundbar is in standby mode. Depending on your soundbar model, you may or may not have DRC.
4) Increase the volume level of the surround speakers using the CH LEVEL button on the Soundbar remote control. Press the button on the soundbar remote, then select REAR LEVEL and use the Up/Down buttons to adjust the volume within a -6 to +6 range.

It would be better if they connected with lower end samsung soundbars but they are perfect to get more immersive sound with the high end soundbars they do pair with.

They paired instantly with my Q70T. I have them set up inside lamp shades on both sides of the couch as to be incognito. These add a lot of depth to movies, and in certain content make a huge difference. In Extraction 2 for example, a lot of the gunshots come out of the rear speakers. I have them set on +6 by default, but sometimes turn them down a bit.
