Great Surround Upgrade for Samsung Soundbars

This rear speaker kit is the perfect way to add true surround sound to a compatible Samsung soundbar. Setup was quick—just plug in the power, connect the speaker wire, and sync with the soundbar. While not fully wireless (the two rear speakers are wired to each other), there's no cable running to the front of the room, which keeps things clean.
The sound is clear and adds real depth to movies and games. It’s not earth-shaking loud, but it makes a big difference in immersion. If you already have a supported Samsung soundbar, this is a solid, space-saving upgrade.

Should be included with the bar

With the soundbar these little buggers do the job. It sucks that they're not included with the soundbar, but that's another story. It's not by any means movie theater quality, nor do they claim to be, but for my bedroom they work just fine. Speaker placement should be in your plan of attack. I can attest to this because it's been a year and they're still pumping out quality hi-fidelity surround sound or whatever you call it. IDK if it's true surround sound, but I can hear stuff louder and clearer coming from the left, right or back. That's what I was looking for to begin with and it works, some old-timers would say it's sacrilegious to have a bar, but you know what, I don't care. It's a cheaper route to a quality experience. If someone wants to outfit me with a pieced setup, we'll give me a call

The installation process was remarkably straightforward, and the design is visually appealing, adding a touch of elegance to the overall aesthetic. However, I couldn't help but feel that the sound quality could have been enhanced further; a little more volume would have truly elevated the experience.

Having purchased the Samsung Q60C sound bar, and lacking the capability of installing a full surround system, I instead opted for these rear speakers. They are fully compatible with my sound bar, and after following the directions for pairing, they have never once disconnected. After adjusting the volume, they truly make surround movies come to life, and even when watching regular TV, they provide a surround experience.

Bought this to replace a sound bar that I thought had died. TV sounds horrible without a sound bar. I was hoping that since it was a Samsung TV, a Samsung sound bar would be a seamless transition. Previous sound bar was a Vizio. For the most part, it was. Setup went smoothly. I also ordered the optional rear speakers for this unit. They also set up smoothly. Upon set up, I discovered my previous sound bar wasn't dead. Still decided to give this one a try. Of course having the previous sound bar for years, I had the sound set to our liking. This one has really been a struggle to get the sound where I want. I keep comparing to the old one, which isn't quite fair. I decided to keep this one and keep fine tuning the sound. The rear speakers add a new dimension that I like. I feel I finally have the sound close to the old one, It took a lot of playing and adjustments. The one feature I absolutely LOVE with this sound bar vs the old one, is that the sound bar does not turn off after a short period of inactivity. That drove me crazy with the Vizio. It also sync's perfectly with the tv, and always comes on and off with the tv power control. The Vizio was hit and miss. Do what does this all mean? I rate it 4 stars. The setup was very smooth. I was expecting a spectacular sound upgrade from the old unit, that is really not the case. That being said, the sound is a HUGE improvement over stock tv. The addition of if the rear speakers, the unit not shutting down during inactivity, and how it synchs perfectly with the tv, makes it a keeper. The Vizio is now in the RV.

Great speakers but quiet; small mount holes

This is common amongst these speakers - they run a little quiet.
There’s a few different settings you can adjust, mine are maxed out at +6, there’s also standard and gaming and other settings you can mess with on the sound bar, but, they’re just a little quiet in my opinion. Other than that, quality is great, they add a lot to your basic 3.1.2 (then 5.1.2 with these). For me, I have them on stands behind my couch and they add a lot of immersion.
One last thing, I had to go to Home Depot to make these work with the stands - the stands were bought off Amazon and aren’t related to this purchase, but the mounting holes in the back are smaller than the standard speakers, idk why Samsung did that.

despite the small form factor of these rear speakers, you can still hear them over the blaring sound of the main soundbar. when i first received them i connected them wrong using the positive and negative cord they give you to connect the two speakers to each other. so at first i thought i had a defective model. until i switched the orientation the wires were connected and i was finally blessed with true surround sound. only reason i give it 4 stars is becasuse i couldnt figure out how to use dolby audio. i can use DTS but dolby doesnt seem to make any sound come out the rear speakers. still great though.

Samsung Surround Speakers

I added the surround speaker to the Samsung soundbar and it made a big difference in the surround quality. The sound bar just cant isolate the surround sound enough to make it feel like surround. The small self powered almost wireless surround speakers did the trick. To me they were worth the money spent on them. The only thing that I thought should be better is that the speaker wire included wasnt long enough for me to be able to run down the wall across the room and up the wall back to the other speaker. They give you a very small gage wire 18 gage maybe smaller they should atleast give you 20-25 feet of it. Since its very cheap wire. Luckily i keep a bunch of speaker handy and just replaced it with 16 gage and ran it thru the wall to hide it. Also the spring clips for the speakers are a little on the week side, so be careful not to pull on the speakers too much or they will disconnect. Other than that they do exactly as i needed them to do. Give me much better surround quality to my soundbar.

I bought these rear speakers to go with my Samsung HW-B650 sound bar. They work perfectly, and do not have the separate bluetooth hub like the older Samsung 9100S rear speakers. They sound great with many newer movies.

Very nice sounding speakers for the price point. They wont blow you away with volume by any means but they add that extra element of sound for your rear portion of the room that gives you the true surround experience. Im not crazy about having to run the one wire between the speakers. Its not hard to do at all, its just hard to hide the wore. I bought these as an open box item and if I didnt know when I brought them I would've thought they were brand new.

Overall a decent pair of surround speakers. The volume is quite low so you'll need to max out the volume and even then it may be too quite for some.
That said sound quality is pretty good once you increase the volume.

These are small but give the right amount of ambiance with my Samsung Q6CC 3.1 soundbar and subwoofer.
These are wireless to the sound bar, but, there is a power cord and a speaker wire to connect these two together , which to me, given the set up is no big deal, and these are brand and model specific.

I paired these speakers with the Q60B soundbar, and initially, I was very disappointed with my purchase. For over a year, I believed the product was subpar because I couldn't control the rear channel volume. I later discovered that newer soundbars come with a remote control featuring a "CH" button, which allows for channel volume adjustment. My soundbar model lacked this feature, so I decided to purchase a Samsung remote control with the "CH" button (part number AH81-15047A) for $12. Once it arrived, I tested it and was thrilled to find that I could control the rear channel volume using the "CH" button, allowing me to maximize the volume. This small investment significantly enhanced my experience with these speakers, making them a worthwhile purchase.

The rear speaker system quickly enhances the Samsung sound bar with surround sound. It is straightforward to install. However, I noticed it works better in a closed and small area than in a large living room.
