I connected the 9200S rear speakers perfectly fine to my HW-A650/ZA soundbar/sub. The 9100s rears are the matching set to my A650 sound bar, but these 9200S were on sale as an open box in perfect condition for $90. I got lucky, and they work great!

Once installed, they sound absolutely amazing in my living with my Samsung 70", as well as a new Samsung surround soundbar & bass subwoofer!! Incredible sound all the way around my living room!! A Boost to My Sound Performance!

I self-installed it but still had to make a call to Samsung's Tech Support Team! There was a one button push step that had to be made to get it working (didn't see it in instructions). Once the helpful step was made, the Kit worked as expected. I am very happy with the surround sound output.

I connect them in the back of the room yes they use wire for each other but there's no wire needed that's running to the front speaker so I'm very happy about that. They do a good job with sound and picking up sounds you aren't used to. I recommend them with your soindbar to get the complete experience.

We understand your frustrations and are here to help.
By design, the surround speakers are supposed to simulate sounds happening behind the viewer. Therefore, most of the time the surround channels are only used for ambient sounds, which are naturally lower in volume.
However, there are a few settings you can change to adjust the surround effect to your preference:
1) Make sure that the source (e.g. TV output) is sending surround channels to the Soundbar. If the source is not capable of surround, then set the Surround mode to OFF on the Soundbar by pressing the Surround button on the remote.
2) If the source has surround channels, select the desired Sound Mode from the Soundbar remote.
3) Turn off Dynamic Range Control. This is done by pressing and holding the Sound Mode button while the Soundbar is in standby mode. Depending on your soundbar model, you may or may not have DRC.
4) Increase the volume level of the surround speakers using the CH LEVEL button on the Soundbar remote control. Press the button on the soundbar remote, then select REAR LEVEL and use the Up/Down buttons to adjust the volume within a -6 to +6 range.

I’m considering returning them and getting the Atmos DTX. I hear the sound coming from them but it’s not quite how I expect. They are a good value if you are for saving a few bucks but if you want big sound, spend a bit more. I have several surround sound systems including a 11.2 in my theater room. I don’t expect that type of sound from it but my other Q series sounds much better. They are easy to pair.
