    SWA-9500S/ZA-Which sound-bar do they work with?

    I am so disappointed with the SWA-9500S/ZA. I wasn’t told by any of the employees that I would have to purchase another sound-bar to get the wireless speakers to connect. I was under the impression they would connect to my new Samsung Tv and or the Samsung sound-bar that I have already. Went back to the store to purchase a sound-bar that would connect. It took the employee a while to determine which sound-bar would be compatible with SWA-9500S/ZA. Purchased the Q600B and could not get the speakers to connect to the sound-bar. I’ve been researching online trying to find a compatible sound-bar and I really can’t find any information.

      Thank you for sharing your experiences with your purchase of the SWA-9500S Wireless Rear Speakers. I am sorry that there has been some confusion on which soundbars will work with these rear speakers.

      The SWA-9500S Wireless Rear Speakers will work with the HW-Q700B, HW-Q800B, HW-S800B and HW-S801B Soundbars in 2022.

    I purchased these back speakers to go with my HW-q800b soundbar system. They work very well. The sound separation is enhanced the sound experience with movies sports music even TV shows. These back pair speakers truly make this a surround sound that fills the room.

    Not connecting

    I went to Best Buy in Nampa, ID. Took my kids in 100 degree heat. I gave my make and model of my soundbar and he stated it was compatible but the closest store was abouse that had them. I went home gave my kids a nap, and then when they woke drove to Boise. Got the speakers drove home, and tried to connect. I have tried everything, including yourube videos, and they will not connect. Very disappointed, now i have to pile the kids back in the car and take thwm back.

    Not optimised for q900a

    Connecting this to my q900a, the Atmos effect is nowhere close to the Samsung q950t soundbar (Last year which comes with rears) . Using the Dolby soundtrack for the 9.1.4 setup, I am able to test that atmos speakers are working. But the calibration is really poor as when I played a test Atmos content (Dolby atmos leaf demo), the atmos effect is near to 0 even though the soundbar detects it as atmos.

      Hi SoundHifiMaster!

      Thank you for purchasing the Samsung SWA-9500S Wireless Rear Loud Speakers to accompany your HW-Q900A soundbar system.

      Once this kit is connected to a compatible Samsung soundbar, the soundbar remote is then used to control the volume level of the rear kit. Press the Sound Control button on the soundbar remote (looks like a gear), then select REAR LEVEL and use the Up/Down buttons to adjust the volume within a -6 to +6 range.

      You might want to try turning off Dynamic Range Control. This is done by pressing and holing the Sound Mode button while the Soundbar is in standby mode.
