It is a good well constructed bass module. Not ported so it reproduces sounds more accurately. The features when used through the phone or combined with a Samsung TV are neat. It is not very loud and for music I have everything turned ALL THE WAY UP struggling to get some bass from a sundbar that has only one option to add a subwoofer. As amazing as it is supposed to be, you wouldnt think it would need one. I purchased the bar on sale at christmas from samsung in white fro around $200. This bass module was just over $300, and to get all of the features you need Samsung everything from certain years for different features. I can think of better value for $500 with better options and sound.

Using your soundbar remote, you have the ability to increase the overall bass levels in two different ways. You can press TONE CONTROL, which will allow you to change the TREBLE and BASS levels. Or, you can use the WOOFER button and increase the bass only.

If you would like louder (or softer) bass from your subwoofer, you can adjust the level by rocking the WOOFER button on the soundbar remote, and then adjusting the level from -6 to +6. To set the subwoofer volume level to 0, press the button in.
You can further adjust TREBLE and BASS of the soundbar via the SOUND CONTROL button (looks like a gear symbol).

I am sorry to see that the subwoofer did not meet your expectations.
When the SWA-W510 is paired with the soundbar, you do have the ability yo adjust the bass levels using the soundbar remote. By pressing the TONE CONTROL button you can adjust the bass and treble levels of the soundbar and subwoofer.
When you use the WOOFER toggle button, you can increase or decrease the bass levels between -6 to +6.
If you want to fine-tune your subwoofer and soundbar combo, press and hold the SOUND CONTROL button for about 5 seconds to adjust the sound for each frequency band. 150Hz, 300Hz, 600Hz, 1.2kHz, 2.5kHz, 5kHz, and 10kHz are selectable using the Left/Right buttons and each can be adjusted to a setting between -6 to +6 using the Up/Down buttons. (Make sure the Sound mode is set to “STANDARD”.

I paired this with the 60B and it provides decent bass for the small driver. The combination of the two plus rear speakers provides a nice dolby atmos experience.

When you are using the soundbar remote, if you push UP/DOWN on the Woofer button you will be able to increase the subwoofer's bass levels.
You can go a step farther and press the TONE CONTROL button on the remote, which will allow you to change the treble or bass levels to dial in your audio experience.

My girlfriend bought this subwoofer as a Christmas gift,and it was not connecting to my sound bar I spoke with Samsung customer service reps and they agreed to replace the subwoofer... That was over 2 months ago and still no subwoofer and every time I call ,they say that it's been approved and waiting to be shipped to me...wow
