I love this blazing fast SSD drive. It helps me put heavy stuff away from my 128gb Macbook Air. The best part is that I am able to run all the storage heavy apps off of this. It's super light and supports the ultra fast speeds of native USB-C.

This was as easy as it gets. Plug and play, great speeds and a very reasonable price. We use this for data transfers between devices and this does a great job performing with local disks that are SSD as well. With SSD drives being common place, it's time for the backup drives to be SSD as well.

Perfect! Fast and sleek. I am not a gamer, but for my photography and music projects this is perfect. No issues with overheating, I was concerned because of other reviews. I suspect they are gaming or not using the right interface.

This SSD has 2 cables, USB-C to B and USB-C to C, so it is able to be connected to newer and older systems. It is small physically, but is large for data - 1TB - very good for holding a lot, and being able to carry it in your pocket. Simple, straight-forward storage device.

Purchased one of these tiny 1TB powerhouse drives for my new iMac. It's nice because you get the super fast SSD connection and can just velcro to the back of the computer to keep it out of sight. Much faster than mechanical external drives. And far cheaper than paying expensive prices to apple for a bigger internal SSD.

The Samsung SSD exceedingly well with my MacPro. Data I/O speeds are great and overall performance is significantly. improved compared to the inexpensive SSD i had before. Note: the drive is formatted exFAT which apparently OS12 does not like when trying to use Time Machine, though easily remedied.

I purchased this to use with my new Nvidia Shield 2019 Pro. Set up was fast and easy. Had no problem setting it up. It's pretty much just plug and play. Lots faster than my old WD Passport 3 TB hard drive. Can't go wrong with this one if you can find it, buy it.

This SSD is blazing fast!! I literally use it daily and have had zero issues with it. I bought it on sale for a great price and would not hesitate to buy another.

Had the smaller 500GB one for the last year and it worked great. So I decided to give that one to my wife and buy the bigger 1TB for myself. This has no moving parts-doest get hot and makes no noise and is very fast. I use it on my MacBook Pro and have had no issues -I love it:)

Great little drive. Takes up 1/10th the space of the old IDE drive it was used to copy data from. Moved my files from an old windows7 upgraded to windows10 machine. Copy of the files only took a bit over 2 hours.

Had it only 6 weeks or so, but no problems and it is small, very quick, therefore great for being on the road. 4 stars because the price is a little on the high side.

This hard drive came with software to encrypt its contents, which is a great plus. It also came with two connectors: usb c-usb c and usb c-usb 3.1 (i think it was 3.1.....) It's a very fast and very portable hard drive. Would buy again.

Fast, response when opening or saving documents. perfect size hard drive, both in physical size and the amount of data it will store. I ended up purchasing two. one for important documents, and the other is attached to our security cameras.

Huge fan of this! I'm never going back to HDD, because SSD are much better. I love how compact and quick it is! Can't wait until SSDs become a standard so that the prices start to drop a bit, but it's definitely worth the money now

We used to have a clunky storage drive that was not a solid state drive and it ended up with a drive error. We lost a lot of data and decided that a solid state drive would be the best way to keep this from happening again. So far so good. Very fast transfer rate when using the USB3 plug.

This is my favorite external hard drive I've ever gotten. It's form factor is so small. It is also lightning fast at transferring data. It made moving files from a NAS super fast and way less stressful than it would've been with a slower drive.

I was having issues opening up my photo's library on my mac and it's getting close to 800GB. I decided to roll the dice and got this external and now, the photo's load faster than compared to my internal hard drive on my iMac. Sorting and going through pictures now is a breeze.

Great to hold extra games for my laptop. Rugged and plenty of space. A little slow for some of the new games.

This portable hard drive is amazing. I took it to Japan to store photos from my trip. It wouldn’t connect to my iPad with a USB-C hub, so I had to use my wife’s laptop to transfer all the files onto it, but it’s a perfect travel companion when you want to free up storage space on camera memory cards or off of your other devices such as a GoPro. The small form factor takes up minimal space in a backpack or carry-on luggage and even at home, it fits in any drawer. I would definitely purchase another one, especially when this one fills up.

It's difficult to beat the quality and speed of the Samsung T5 1TB external drive. It's super light and small which makes it easy to travel with. I use it with my macbook to offload my RAW photo files when traveling. I've had zero issues with this drive.
