Ver fast, compact, and well-made high quality external SSD. Easy to use - just plug and play with a compatible device. If you like, you can use the included software to set up password and encryption but it us not necessary for use. For some reason, the prices on this seem to vary often from sbout $140 to $200+ so value depends somewhat on what price you are able to buy it at and comparing the prices on the new Samsung T7 drives. Overall it is an excellent product with no issues to detract from a 5 star rating. I have been very pleased with it.

When my backup drive failed, this drive was a deal of the day. Scooped it up and it is perfect. Plenty of space, lightning fast, and compact.

This drive is tiny! It's about a third the size of my Samsung S9+ phone, but it packs A LOT of storage. I bought this drive for use with my Pioneer DDJ SX2 controller + Serato. It's worked great during practice sessions. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to test it during a live performance due to Covid-19- but I have no doubts that it will hold up for extended periods of time. I have various WD backup drives should this ever fail (or get lost), but this will be the main drive I use in my gigs.

Great external hdd. It has lasted for a while. I have had one minor issue, but i think it's pc side.

I bought the T5 drive to use for backing up my MacBook Air because it was less expensive than the T7 model. It is much faster than using a hard drive, and it is fast enough for my needs. It is light, so it's easy to take with me when I travel. The storage capacity is enough that I have backed up four separate computers on the same drive, and I have plenty of space left.

This Samsung Solid State Drive (1TB) is perfect for today's computer needs. It weighs literally nothing and is compact and small enough to carry pretty much anywhere. The best feature, IMO, is the reliability of this type of drive over any other type of external hard drive. I've lost 3 external hard drives due to small bumps and accidents where everything was lost on the drive because of the moving parts inside. This is something I no longer worry about with a solid state drive.

This drive is small, lightweight, solid, and blazing fast. I use it as a dump-drive for action cameras while traveling, and typically see speeds around 90-120 MBPS, which makes quick work of my multi-GB video backups. The drive includes USB-A and USB-C to C cables, which makes connectivity easy. I trust the Samsung brand for storage integrity, and the price is excellent for a portable solid-state drive. Love it!

Absolutely love these little guys. Small and light weight but oh so quick. I purchased several of these to replace all my old mechanical hard drives that my family uses. We were having to many failures on the mechanical ones. We keep family pictures and videos on these and to have on fail and not be able to retrieve our stuff just plan sucks. Have had no issues with these solid state drives!

Plug and play. Easy use external SSD. Bought years ago and still working.

This is a super product. It is small and light. Easy to carry around in a purse. The 1TB of memory in such a small disk, is just amazing. It will last me for a long time since there are no movable parts being a SSD. The color (Rose Gold) is beautiful and elegant. I feel more comfortable with this external than using the flash drive which I easily lost or forgot due to the small size.

I bought this portable drive because I like editing videos and my laptop does not have enough space for all the video files that I have created. This drive is small enough that you can conveniently carry it around in your laptop bag and I am able to transfer files in as well as out of the drive very quickly which improve my productivity. Great investment.
