My previous monitor was a Samsung curved 27" screen and I enjoyed it very much. After about three years, it failed by producing a faint complete image through a uniform pattern of snow. No adjustment helped. Purchased the T55 series but the picture resolution on this monitor, although very good when viewing streaming, was absolutely miserable at sharpness when dealing with spreadsheets, outlook, quicken etc. The type on gray or solid color backgrounds would develop a white "bloom" around them making the screen difficult to read. Adjustments did little to rectify. There was one adjustment (eye saver) that did sharpen the type immensely but at the expense of the brightness of the screen --then you were left with a dull appearing output on everything. Additionally, within applications, the color yellow was represented with green. Again, output on streaming looked good and normal. Returned and purchased a different monitor - no problems with the competitor monitor. Maybe I just got a defect, I have not seen any other complaints on the T55 on this issue.
