Samsung solid state drives are a solid choice

In the past it has been the T5, but this time it was the T7. They are speedy and reliable. I believe the T7 is faster than the T5 - it felt faster, but I was also using it on a newer computer, so it could simply have been the bus speed. I also really like that they come with both a usb c to usb c cable and a regular usb to usb c cable - so no matter what kind of connection you need, it works. We have Macs and these drives work with them out of the box.

Quick, small, hot

Super portable. Does get really warm when transferring large amounts of data. I just did my transfers in batches to ensure it didn’t overheat as I’ve seen happen to some in other reviews

I'm a graphic design student and use this SSD with my Macbook. The files transfer relatively quickly and I love that it's so portable. No complaints so far, will update if there's anything.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This is one of those products that shows you why Samsung is a world class company - this thing is completely silent and downloads/runs PS4 games just as fast, if not faster than my PS5 itself. And it is much smaller than you might think. For anyone considering this: Note that it does not currently support PS5 files. It is only able to store all your PS4 games so you can use the limited PS5 memory for PS5 games only. It is still very handy since mosy t current PS5 owners still play PS4 games too
