I initially bought this SSD as a backup for my TimeMachine on my Mac. However, I’ve also been able to use it for my Logic projects. A few weeks ago, I purchased a new Mac, and this SSD left me in awe. It transferred all my old Mac’s data to my new one in about 15 to 25 minutes. Even the Apple Genius specialist was impressed. I highly recommend this product. If you’re concerned about the color, it blends seamlessly with the Space Black Mac color.

I have used Samsung T5 and T7 and they both work for me without issue. I’m a filmmaker, my shop is MAC based and I use a lot of Blackmagic Design cameras, URSA Minis, Pocket Cinema Cameras and other BM gear. As I said at the top my use of the T7 with any of my cameras has been great and without issue. I format them, connect them via the provided cable and it provides me with uninterrupted recording. I have read many of the complaints about the incompatibility of the T7 with Blackmagic cameras but this has not been my experience. I do however recall being onset and noticed a PA having issues with the T5/7 not connecting with the camera and the issue was they were using a low grade USB-C cable. The moment I gave him a better cable the matter was resolved. Anyway I hope this helps someone.

Love it. Better than getting a regular hardrive if you want something that has much more longevity and much less of a risk to crash. Best buy has some of the best options for Solid State Drives.

Picked this drive up to use as a backup on my Mac Studio. It’s working great & was ready to use right out of the box. No issues after 11 months of daily use.

Great for editing video. Thes t7’s are super useful for any type of video work. Fast enough to edit video off of and I’ve never had one fail.

Big fan! It integrated well into my iMac and it freed up a bunch of space on my internal hard drive. It's plugged in and running 24/7 and I've had no problems in at least 6 months.

This a very good ssd for both mac or Windows, I use this for my new iMac 24” that only has 256GB, it’s very fast, light, premium looking design. It’s a must to have, 1tb for only about $145, that’s a steal.

This external ssd works great and is small enough it can be carried with you on the go.

Haven't been using it long but the setup is pretty simple and easy. Also as someone who likes to work on the go I love the sleek design - it's super lightweight and portable!! Definitely can recommend.

Well...I purchased a Mac mini last year from best and I knew that the on board 128 gigs of ram would someday come around to bite me so... I read and researched about how I could clone my OS onto an external hard drive especially when the new upgrade made it a necessity! So I pulled it off and couldn't be happier not did it work but I gained up and download speeds in the 800 plus range, it's incredible glad I did it! I had been checking out the samsung externals for quite sometime, this one is awesome!!

Great quality and meets all specs. Small and easy to carry. Fast transfer speeds let me back up work files very easily.

Super small & light. It's a solid product, but it scored much higher on my PC running CrystalDiskMark compared to running the Blackmagic disk speed test on my M1 Mac Mini. Read speed: 1,044 MB/s vs.696 MB/s. Write speed: 942 MB/s vs.743 MB/s. Strangely, it scored higher on the write speed compared to the read speed on my Mac.

This is a very convenient form factor, it is fast as well. I have several now and they are connected to my Caldigit Element 4 hub . It is connected to my 14" MacBook Pro M1 Max. The Samsung SSDs are nice as I can connect them either to the the 3.2 USB or Thunderbolt 4 ports on the hub.
