Very easy to use and small enough to store away in your bag without take up any room. Surprisingly fast and easy to use.

This is the second Samsung SSD I have purchased (first one was a 500GB for my wife), and it meets all of my expectations. Small size makes it super easy to take anywhere. Data transfer is lightning fast. Only one cable (USB-C to USB-C) makes connecting a snap. I am very pleased with this product, and give it my full recommendation.

This is a small but powerful SSD that I would recommend for anyone looking for a fast drive to work on. I went for an emergency Best Buy run in the middle of an editing project and it was the only SSD available at the store when I went so I was a little bit doubtful about it at first. Thankfully, it worked perfectly for my project and saved me in the middle of a rush! Would def recommend, and looking forward to buying one with more space in the near future!

After using the Samsung T7 1TB SSD for a year, I’m happy to grab a second one. It’s been a solid drive—super fast for transferring big files, and the size makes it easy to toss in my bag. The hardware encryption is a nice perk, especially since I’ve got some work files on it. I also own the SanDisk Extreme Portable SSD, which is great too, but I feel the T7 runs cooler and feels a bit sturdier over time. Overall, it’s a solid, reliable choice.

The Samsung T7 1TB External USB drive is a solid choice for those seeking portable storage solutions. Its compact and sleek design makes it easy to carry around, fitting in your pocket or bag without any hassle.
Performance-wise, the T7 is impressive. With USB 3.2 Gen 2 support, it delivers blazing-fast data transfer speeds, ensuring that you can quickly backup or transfer large files. This makes it a great option for content creators, photographers, or anyone dealing with hefty data loads.
The build quality is sturdy and feels durable, offering peace of mind for those concerned about their data's safety during travel. The inclusion of AES 256-bit hardware encryption also adds an extra layer of security.

After decades of using large platter disk external hard drives for back up this Samsung device is a real joy. It is just slightly larger and thicker than a credit card and could easily fit into a spacious wallet. I like that it comes with USB-C to USB-C for my MacBook as well as USB-C to USB-A cables for my PC. The drive is super fast. I reformatted it with 2 partitions with disk utility on my MacBook. I use one for Time Machine back up and the second for file sharing.

So far, this little booger is pretty awesome. It's solid state, so it's quite zippy. And it comes with two cables. One does USB-C to USB-C. The other is USB-C to standard USB size. Both the cables are really short. An excellent choice for a portable solid state hard drive.
