Great little drive

Works as a boot drive and data drive. I’m currently not using the built in encryption as I prefer to use file system encryption instead.

Not for combining old data from old CPUs

I tried transfer stuff from older computers I have, but it obviously is only compatible with newer computers. It does not work for for my intended use, but I will continue to use it for new data.

I have everything from music projects to iMovie projects, sample libraries. Logic pros 60 gb instrument library. It’s great.

My 3rd Samsung SSD, and they keep getting better

I've used this primarily with my MacBook pros and the new Red drive seems as fast as the lightning-fast internal SSD on my 2018.
