I am using this to store video I took on my kids from ages ago, works like a champ. a friendly reminder: if video is what you will be storing on this drive and you have a lot of it, the 2T version may make more better sense in longer run.

I plugged it in with the included usb cord from Samsung into the port in the glovebox. Tesla software recognized and formatted it without issue. Simple upgrade.

Grat Storage in a Small physical size

Physical size is great - about 1/2 the size of my cell phone, and storage accomoadates all my files. Great peace of mind.

The price was great, the capacity more than sufficient. It was physically smaller than I expected. However, I planned to use it as an external Steam Library. Caution: this drive gets _really_ hot. Some people think the T7 is just an overclocked T5. It was very fast, as I got the full 10gbps connection. Either way, for non-intense usage it is probably fine, but it was disconnecting intermittently for me under heavy usage. I ended up exchanging it for a different external SSD (WD_BLACK P50).

Used primarily for backing up important files. Noticed the speed difference immediately going from T3 to T7. Very fast and quiet. No heat problems. Got it on sale also.
