East to setup and use. It is very compact which is helpful. No issues on MacBook.

This drive lives up to its advertisement. It's the same size as a credit card but only thicker. It's lightening fast. Even on my 10 year old desktop I tested it and using the USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type C to C cable (I have a PCIe Type C USB Card installed) the read/write constantly exceeds 725mbps. Using the USB 3 connection it consistently tested at 425 mbps. Could not be happier. One side note. The cables that come with it are very short, maybe 6 to 8 inches. I purchased a 3ft USB Type C to C cable. Be sure it is rated at "10Gbps" to get the highest speeds. I didn't pay attention to the speed when I bought my cable and got one rated at 480mbps and had to exchange it. Also, if you want to maintain the higher speeds only use cables 3 feet or shorter. Based upon research, once you get a longer cable the speed starts to slow down considerably.

Appears to work well; can't yet comment on long-term durability, but satisfied so far.

My 3rd Samsung SSD, this one was to copy files from a laptop that wouldn't let me sign in after a Windows update. Everything copied quickly except for my 20k+ photos, that took a bit.

Very nice SSD drive. I have a few of these which I use for home backup and off site backup. They are small fast and perfect for what I need. I like that you can get color choices.

Using this as an external SSD for my 2020 MacBook Pro. I have the 2TB version, I partitioned 1TB for a backup drive, and I use the other 1TB for other things, and it’s partitioned in exFAT so I can use it with Mac or Windows. This SSD is great, it is fast, reliable, and does everything I need it to. I have another of these SSD’s that I use on my PS5, and the speed appears to be the same whether I am playing a PS5 game in the internal hard drive or playing a PS4 game from this external SSD. It’s a bit pricey, but not too bad, and it’s expected, since quality made products are often expensive. For what I use this for it is great, I am sure there are other applications that it probably wouldn’t be great for, but I am using one for general computer storage and 1 for gaming, and both do exactly what I need them to do.

This is Samsung's fastest external SSD. Perfect for dumping camera cards in the field and for working with once back at home. Very lightweight, massive capacity, super fast transfer speeds. Highly recommended for photography and videography.

I can’t believe how much memory fits into such a small volume. I just plugged this into a port on my Mac computer, nothing else required. The shape goes well with my computer.

wow, the speed of this thing flies. Samsung quality you can trust. I have owned many many many SSD drives and Samsung by far has never failed me, where other drives from other brands have failed and I have used every single brand sold here.

Small, portable, light weight, fast and good performance. Totally recommended. It comes with several connector cables.

The Samsung SSD remains a top contender in uploading or downloading large files quickly. It does get a little warm when transmission of large files is being processed, but it has not caused any problems with the drive.

This is definitely faster than your typical Hd and most SSD on the market. You do have to download a program onto the pc’s the SSD will be plugged in in order to open the folder. It is encrypted and it’s very small and compact. Overall it is definitely worth the money.

The Samsung T7 SSD has proven to be fast and reliable for working with large amounts of data. The USB-C connection allow for fast data transfer, and I am not seeing any lag while working from the drive. The small size is convenient, too.

Amazing product. It is very small and compact which is convenient. Worked very fast even when using it on an old Mac book pro. It is even better than the T5 model. Definitely worth investing In a ssd model like this one. Very satisfied and worth every dollar.
