Nope, this SSD is as compact as a couple of credit cards...I bought it solely as an apple iMac backup and boy is it fast.

It can connect directly to your Iphone and download files and other important things as well. Its a little slow transfer from the SSD to my laptop. Besides that not too bad for the price as well.

Excellent speed, used on a Mac for Video Editing

So far it has held up well and the speed work well between the two iMac's.

Added DVR memory to Tablo

Basically plug and play, Simple setup on the Tablo and it was up and running. Tablo only had a small memory and this replaced it with maybe 150-200 hours of HD recording capability.
