I edit straight from this drive and have only had one issue. I lost some footage and couldn’t recover it but the T7 at the time wasn’t approved with the Akers only the T5 drives. Since them Blackmagic has done an update and these drives work great.

Have used with both a Mac and pc and works quickly and flawlessly. I have one operating as a Time Machine on an iMac, no issues at all. The other I use as an additional drive on a laptop, also flawless operation.

Connected and formated, very slick. Looking for great service from this unit as I have experienced from the other Samsung T7 I have doing the same thing in another car.

I'm not impressed. I bought it for speed, not for portability. Yes it's really small. But I don't find the usability any different than a corded external hard drive. I fact I think I prefer the corded versions for my home computer since they run cooler. But if you want a small portable drive, it'd be good for that I guess.

The maximum transfer speed that can be achieved by the T7 is 1,050 MB/s on a PC that supports USB 3.1 Gen2 and UASP Mode, but the speed may vary depending on your PC environment and the types of data being transferred.

I use this to save some important files, photos, and videos and it is quick with a lot of space and easy to use. Only 2 drawbacks. Have to download software to lock it and it is a bit pricey.
