After scouring the forums for recommendations, I purchased this USB SSD for my friend's birthday present. Some backstory: a good friend of mine is an EV enthusiast, and had recently purchased a car, and was showing me the "sentry mode" features. I asked him how much recording time the car held, and I don't remember what he said, but I determined that it wasn't enough. So, I spent hours perusing various forums to figure out what USB SSD was recommended to expand the car's recording time capabilities. The Samsung T7 was highly recommended, so I got him one. It works flawlessly.

Easy to setup and use. Extremely fast and reliable

I have the previous model, the T5 and the T7 is slightly longer and thinner than before. It works just as well so far and hopefully has the same reliability. I've had the T5 for a few years.

The Samsung T7 is one of the best SSD's I have ever bought hands down. Even plugged in with a USB A Cable it's lightning fast, but when using a USB C it's insane. Very Durable as well

What can't say? If you're ever on a commercial set, there's a reason why they have a thousand of these being used. They work fast and they're incredibly durable.

I love samsung products. Very reliable and fits in your pocket. Run and buy. I'm using this for time machine on my macbook air 13 inch. It has fast speeds for what you need.

This solid-state drive backs at my files very quickly when connected to my iPad Pro. It is also very light weight and can fit in the smallest pocket in my laptop bag.

Great little drive, small and light weight and the built in encryption is a nice added bonus. Great speeds too.

Got this as time machine backup. Easy reformat and boom it works. Fairly fast and hope its more durable than old fashion spinny discs were

I use these to up load pics for work. It would take me significantly longer when using my old standard hdd. It’s slimmer design is a huge plus.
