Both of these are getting full so decided time to upgrade to a higher capacity unit.

Slow as S.H.I.T to use as a boot device for an older 2017 Imac. If ur transfering multiple files that are above 200gigs dont get this over priced piece of technology and get a NVME with a case and thunderbolt cable.

Your 1TB drive was engineered to deliver speeds of up to 1,050MB/s Seq. Read and 1,000MB/s Seq. Write.

Because of my lack of technical skills, a quick call to Apple support was all I needed to solve my backup problem using this device.

Runs fine on Mac mini although I reformatted it and ditched the Samsung software One puzzle is the provision of micro usb to usb-c and usb A to usb C cables but no USB-C to USB-C cable.
