Amazing this is my second one. I have a black 1tb one that is just used for my time machine on my MacBook. This silver one is perfect for back up pictures and personal and work stuff. Inloveee the finger print on these

I upgraded from a Sandisk... it was limited to SATA 500 MBPS speeds, so going up to the 1000 MBPS on the T7, my mind was blown away! The only challenge is getting your info onto it from a traditional drive. After you do that, files fly from this device! I keep my music, videos and lightroom library on here. It is ideal for editing RAW photos as load time has been brought to almost zero on photos. The touch sensor is quick and works well with the installed software. That is all you need to know going in, if you do not have the software installed... you will get access to your non secure files, if you unlock it with touch (and the software), you access your full library. This is only an issue if you use other computers than your own but you can segment your files with it if you plan.

so much memory in such a small package. very convenient and portable? yes, portable. 1TB of space for all my programming files..I love it. Ill stick with this model as decades pass.

I looked at the T5 and thunderbolt drives but this was just about the perfect balance to provide a good size, storage, and data transfer speeds. I use this on my iPad, MacBook and Mac Mini and transfer data regularly.

This SSD Drive is exceptionally faster than any Drive I’ve ever had. It’s saved me days of waiting for files to transfer from old drives to the new SSD. You’ll be blown away how small the drive is.

These Samsung USB-C drives are the best! Ultra thin, easy connection, and FAST. The encryption is nice, not required to have software on devices... only need on 1 device to set password.

Great external solid state drive with built in encryption security. It works like a charm. Very user friendly. I really wish it worked on an iPhone. Overall I like it and I highly recommend it.

I just had a hard time configuring and setting up on a Mac. But other than that, this little device is really a good buy. A back up for all my photos and documents.

Good speed.. there are cheaper portable ssd available in market.. but look for speed also.. that gives real feeling of ssd. I find it really good fit.

I picked this up to use exclusively for Time Machine backups on my MacBook Pro. Set up was easy and fast. Works seamlessly with my MacBook Pro. It got hot when doing the first Time Machine backup which was expected considering the size but no issues. As many have mentioned, it’s about the size of a credit card. It’s super lightweight. I do like that it comes a usb c to c cable as well as a usb a to c one so it can connect to my MacBook, my iPad Pro and my windows pc with ease (I got a second one to use for storing my documents, videos, photos, etc

I use this drive to store sample libraries, and as my main storage drive for my DAW. The drive meter never goes past 5%!

Size of a business card and almost as thin. Perfect for backup and for a drive to work from. It was recommended to me and it was a great recommendation
