Could be faster but works pretty well and you can keep your info private by locking the devise. Almost fast enough for gaming in most situations besides titles that need more speed. Works for about everything else but games that need higher transfer speeds to work properly. I use it for everything else and use the pc one for gaming only.

this portable drive is SUPER FAST. If you need a SSD drive, a lot of my friends who work in the entertainment business who need a dependable high speed drive really enjoy this. Originally I bought a WD Extreme Drive but it failed on me multiple times in the first 2 weeks. I have older Lacie drives that still work well, but have been very happy with this Samsung drive.

The drive exceeds all my expatiations. I plan to use it first to backup all my data and transfer to cloud, once drive is empty, I will use it to record Hi Res video from my iPhone. Drive is defiantly a winner.

I use this for 4K video storage. This is my fourth Samsung SSD. Setup is a piece of cake and this thing is fast! I love the build quality as well. It feels heavy and sturdy. It's easy to grip because of the texture and material used.

I bought this for backing up my home built gaming desktop. Extremely fast, easy to use, high quality design, I tend to be biased towards Samsung SSD’s, as they always live up to my expectations. When it comes to my hardware, I expect top notch quality. I definitely recommend this external SSD.

Easy to use and set up. Good storage amount for moving pictures and videos to archive.

Ii have only used once and that was to make room on my cellphone. I had 300+ picks using space. I did a copy to the T9 storage that ony took a short time something like 30 minutes, maybe less. I really don't remember it was quick. I was expecting it to take a Couple of hours. Everything seams to have transferred correctly. The only thing, and this might be me i couldn't figure out how to send the the pics all at once seperated in there separate folders. Had to create there folder and then pick the pictures i wanted and copy them into the new folder i made in the T9. That was what took a little time.

10 out of 10. Bought to back up family photos and videos. The storage capacity, maximum read, and write speed are great. Will be buying another one soon.
