    This is an awesome 4 Tb portable SSD! While my M4 Pro MacBook Pro cannot take full advantage of the USB 3.2 Gen2 speed, it’s still very fast nonetheless! Time Machine backups are incredibly quick. I split my storage capacity into two partitions. One 1 Tb for Time Machine backups, and the other 3 Tb for VMs and miscellaneous storage. Works fabulously!

    This external SSD is fast, build quality is great and can survive reasonable drops. I have had multiple of these in the past and throughout the years they have never failed on me so I can safely say they are very reliable. Thanks Samsung!

    Super fast but sometimes it’s not detected. Also you need a special interface to get max speed. Best external SSD on the market right now, given all the options.

    Swift, silent, & delightful! Once formatted for my Mac, this drive has delivered on its promise to provide fast data throughput without the noise of a whirring hard drive. Small, roughed & portable, I can now use it on-the-go with my iPad as well!

    A copious amount of memory for the price. I DJ weddings and am trying to compile an offline database of music, so this is perfect. Great app to help manage it, though I’d recommend this more for PC than Mac users, as it interfaces with the software better. However, I use a Mac and I’m a fan

    super fast, holds all my games, plays just as fast as my internal ssd. might want to switch to ntfs format before doing anything which can be easily done in the settings!

    I purchased this to replace a Sandisc 4TB SSD, because after one month of use it randomly disconnected every day. So far after two months the Samsung replacement seems solid.

    This is the absolute best hard drive for me and what i do. The light weight, durability and speed is unbelievable. The T7 shielded were a favorite, but the T9 is built to withstand everything. I know have a few of them

    At first I wasn't confident with what I was going to purchase because I was split between the Lacie with Thunderbolt connection or the Samsung wth a slower USB-C download connection speed. But after making the decision because of great sales price offered by Best Buy decided to go after capacity over having the added benefit download speed with Lacie, i have to admit I'm pleased with my Samsung T9. The speed is excellent for my needs and I'm happy with the durability factor. I plan to later purchase a Thunderbolt 4, 240w cable to see if the speed is further enhanced. If even by a little I would be that much happier with my external Samsung SSD. Cheers!
