    I've tried a sandisk and it ran so hot i could boil water with it. This one doesn't do that as far as I can tell.

    The T9 portable ssd is great! It has helped with keeping photos in storage (raw & jpeg). It has some weight to it and feels very durable. The T9 is quite fast to read data that is being stored. I hope in the future Samsung can make a t9 that is 6 or 8 TB ssd.

    Only had the drives for a few weeks. Using them for quick data offloads to use in between full backups to my petsonal server. I ended up buying two of them to use in rotation monthly. Super quick and easy to use. I ended up formatting them completely and leaving them in their native FAT format for more compatibilty. Will see how long they hold up under load as they get a bit warm during longer read/writes.
