very good product, compact to carry on, easy to connect, good quality image. If you are looking a projector to see with day light this is not the product, only works during night.

This is a great product, I love it. It’s quick and easy and not hard to figure out. You can have it auto focus or auto screen adjustments or you can switch to manual, these features make it a plus for me. The picture is clean and I love how the speakers is made it really feels as if the sound is coming right to you. The reason for the 4 star: when I angle the projector downward and I am happy with the adjustment, it slowly falls after about 10 seconds. When I realized maybe something was up with the sides, I noticed that the screws on the side was cracked. I haven’t felt like returning it, I hate doing the foot work. It’s annoying.

I appreciate the unique design choices of this device. The projector has decent quality. Are there other portable projectors that are more affordable or brighter? Absolutely, but their shape doesn't lend them to types of uses this projector will be able to accomplish. The built-in speaker is even pretty decent given it's small size. The fact that it has EARC over HDMI just gives you more potential for audio options on the go. All that being said, there are some areas for improvement: Needs at least one more HDMI port and one more USB-C port. Added HDMI for attaching an external device while still being able to use EARC on the other HDMI. Added USB-C port so you can power it while attaching external media to play off of an external storage device without a complicated mess of adapters/dongles. Would ideally be a laser projector so it wouldn't have the rainbow effect that LCD projectors sometimes have. I appreciate the software keystoning, but some sort of hardware keystoning would be impressive (as the software one comes at the expense of wasting resolution). Speaking of resolution, I know a 4K projector might be a tall ask, but QHD would have been a nice middle ground to help the software keystoning not be so negative. I love that it has basically the entire Samsung TV experience in a little package (including popular apps like Disney+, Netflix, Apple TV, etc) and supports various wireless streaming formats such as Apple's AirPlay. The biggest miss for me though is the first party accessories, especially the carrying case which only holds the projector and has no space for the remote, the official battery stand, or the USB-C power cable + AC adapter + cord clip. It also seems strange that the included remote doesn't support solar charging like most of the other Samsung TV remotes of late (especially given the stated use as an outdoor/event projector). I do hope Samsung continues the Freestyle lineup and makes additional accessories for this projector. At the very least I hope they release specifications for the contacts and exact engineering dimensions so interested 3rd parties can produce accessories that will seamlessly work with it.

I love this projector best purchase ever super clear great for karaoke family night and gaming I had a family birthday and it was a success the complaints ppl make about the set up is confusing because this projector was super easy to set up especially when following the steps took me less than 15 minutes and the complaints about Samsung Plus loading each time I m unsure but I don't mind it's FREE LIVE TV loading so it's a simple fix just by clicking the home button I also want to make aware there is an opportunity to rerun the items you purchase if it's not what your looking for which was helpful in my purchases I was always hesitant to purchase this because I wasn't sure if I would be able to return if I didn't like it or find it complicated but whew I'm glad I didn't have to return it was more than what I expected and don't regret buying this at all if I had to add the Cons buying this product I would say I only wish it was wireless for outdoor use

Honestly this projector has been awesome. Im an early tech adopter. Good or bad if its new I end up buying it. I was really interested in the features this little thing has. The ability to throw it on any surface and not have to worry about orientation is so awesome! The speakers on this are loud as well so there wont be a need to hook it up to external speakers. it is very lightweight that you can take it with you wherever you like. This is a must have on vacations and other trips. Also great way to put your kids to bed by having this projected on their ceiling :D or if you just want ease in having your kid take his bottle!

While The Freestyle is by no means ground breaking, the size and streaming features make it a quick and easy solution for when you either need an extra screen, want to make a sleepover extra fun, or binge Netflix on the ceiling. There are limitations, the projector is not as high-end as the price lets on, but for the convenience and shear fun I'll give it a 5.

It was a cool little projector. But the linens just aren’t bright enough to really make this unit pop. The picture quality was good about a distance or 2-6 feet. I liked out it auto adjusted and had preloaded apps. I would recommend it if you just want something cool and portable. But for main entertainment I would get a projector with more lumens.

1080 projector to watch games on youtubetv outside, sign me up. I used this projector to move around the house and let kids watch shows on the ceiling. Built in tuner to watch local tv and apps to watch movies. I know version 2 is out but if you done need gaming apps save money and buy this one.

Bought the Samsung Projected to add to a room in our home. We had other Samsung tv’s and when I would turn on the projector with the remote, it would turn off the other Samsung tv in other room. The micro HDMI did not work with the HDMI products I wanted to stream. (The cord was bought separately.) And lastly, I thought with the Freestyle it would have a battery reserve, but it has to be connected at all times. Concepts was nice, but I guess it was not for what I wanted it for.

This is one of the best purchases we’ve made. The projector is compact and easy to take anywhere. I was surprised how big the screen can be. We’ve often used it to watch movies in the backyard with the kids or just anywhere there is an empty wall. It already come preloaded with app and you can extra as needed. The streaming from my phone works just as well. I was so happy with this that I bought my parents one for Christmas.

I loved the fact that is a small size to take anywhere and that is wireless that you can connect to your cellphones Hotspot internet!!! The downside of it, is that it doesn't have an internal battery :( The projector itself is already too pricey and will have to buy the external battery accessory which is not cheap at all.

Good picture for the size of the projector. Despite what the advertisements may imply this projector is not the best on the go. Due to the fact that you have to have an external battery if you plan to use it away from an electrical outlet. I would say this projector would be a great deal at $500 to $600 but I MSRP is a little high.

Love the flexibility of the product!! I wish it could project a little brighter as you have to have the room pretty dark to view well. Also the sound quality is okay. But the picture itself is pretty sharp, and flexibility is unbeatable.

When i first saw this projector i was skeptical about the size and being able to do everything jt states it does. Boy did it put me in my place. Setup was easy, plug in, turn on, connect to wifi and your done. Keystone and auto calibration work phenomenally. If for skme reason you still want to edit the picture quality you can do so in yhe smart things app. I will saw the only cons are (just like any projector with under 700 lumens) light really washes out the picture. At night its great. Second is the response time is a bit pengthy at times but a small proce to pay gor all of the other features!

Amazing little projector. Auto focus and keystone work really well. Only downside is it requires a micro HDMI if you want to stream from a computer or play games. Casting and Bluetooth work really well.

I like having a projector in my room for casual use. I got this one to replace a cheap projector that I’ve had for awhile. Some things I love about this projector: * automatically focuses and keystones on walls or ceilings! * Fans are quiet. At least, much quieter than my cheaper projector. * Built in media playing capabilities. You can stream using apps like Hulu or Plex without any additional hardware! * Mini HDMI input allows you to plug in your gaming console. The only problem I’ve had with it so far is the built in Samsung software is pretty slow. It sometimes takes a few seconds to respond to controller input. It’s annoying enough for me to remove a star. Otherwise it’s perfect for my use case!

This model does not have battery and cannot be operated without plugging in. The FEATURES section is not correctnin stating that "External Battery Compatible Now the big screen experience is as mobile as you are. Just grab The Freestyle with an external battery pack and go. With no outlet needed, you’re free to watch your favorite shows, play games or whatever you want, anywhere you want indoors or out.²" This is NOT correct. Good quality. Need to be tech savvy to setup and operate as the connectivity is a little clunky.

Good projector, very portable and picture is good. If I can find it for cheaper I would buy, I'm not sure about paying full price again

Nice little projector with a pretty good imagine even in a room with small amounts of lights. It really needs a pitch black room to fully enjoy it but a little light wont make it unusable however what is unuseable is the samsunf its fod awful it’s incrediblely slow, buggy and alot of the time just freezes and refuses to work its by far the worst thing aboht this projector just like there tvs it needs to be fixed asap and by fixed i mean just replace it with google tv. Lack of a built in battery sucks and means youll need to buy a portable charger to fully enjoy it if your away from power. For the orice you can do better at 400-500 its worth it for 600-900 dont bother

I like the picture and the size. One thing I did like over time it tends to not stay where you adjust it to.
