I like rjay it is sleek and versatile. Its not as bright as others it can be but for the price and mobility, its not a bar sacrifice. Mini hdmi so get an adapter.

This Projector was the perfect product to purchase for our outdoor Patio. We have used it throughout the summer time when guest and friends come over to watch both movies and boxing fights. It is easy to use and very user friendly. I highly recommended this for anyone looking for a small, light and great quality projector.

This is a great product, I love it. It’s quick and easy and not hard to figure out. You can have it auto focus or auto screen adjustments or you can switch to manual, these features make it a plus for me. The picture is clean and I love how the speakers is made it really feels as if the sound is coming right to you. The reason for the 4 star: when I angle the projector downward and I am happy with the adjustment, it slowly falls after about 10 seconds. When I realized maybe something was up with the sides, I noticed that the screws on the side was cracked. I haven’t felt like returning it, I hate doing the foot work. It’s annoying.

While The Freestyle is by no means ground breaking, the size and streaming features make it a quick and easy solution for when you either need an extra screen, want to make a sleepover extra fun, or binge Netflix on the ceiling. There are limitations, the projector is not as high-end as the price lets on, but for the convenience and shear fun I'll give it a 5.

Great little projector that has a lot of pros and a couple cons. Pros Small form factor Amazing built in speaker that can get decently loud! Built in apps and App Store Great in dark or very low light rooms Cons A bit dim. Unusable in a bright room and struggles in mid-bright rooms Cost is a bit high. Worth it on sale otherwise.

It was a cool little projector. But the linens just aren’t bright enough to really make this unit pop. The picture quality was good about a distance or 2-6 feet. I liked out it auto adjusted and had preloaded apps. I would recommend it if you just want something cool and portable. But for main entertainment I would get a projector with more lumens.

1080 projector to watch games on youtubetv outside, sign me up. I used this projector to move around the house and let kids watch shows on the ceiling. Built in tuner to watch local tv and apps to watch movies. I know version 2 is out but if you done need gaming apps save money and buy this one.

Pre-ordered back in January and received in February. My first projector and its a cool gadget. Images are sharp with well defined colors in a dark enough room, but definitely gets washed out a bit in daylight. I’ve typically used for travel in hotel rooms and once you get connected to the wifi, its great to use your streaming apps. UI does lag some but it has improved over time with software updates that have come out. Audio works well when watchinf content as well. Issues I have are I couldnt get an IPTV app to work at all. I use a chromecast 4k dongle with it on rhe road to get best performance. But that turns this $1k device into an expensive display. Audio streaming (bluetooth/airplay) isn’t a great performer either. If you have the volume anywhere above 50%, you’re likely to have sound cut out for bassier music. I’ve even experienced this with podcasts if i have the volume up. Definitely didnt expect this to be the best performing device for audio, but it makes the listening experience a pain when audio cuts out. Again this is for audio only media, but video w/ audio has never given me issues. Overall its a cool device that mostly works well and is fairly portable, yet pricey.

This is one of the coolest tv devices ever made if you get one that works. And even then it's not worth more than $499 period! I'm really not sure how to go about writing this review. I bought one of these for my daughter for xmas and immediately fell in love with it when I helped her set it up. I knew down the road that I would own one someday. Fast forward a few months and I purchased a BB "open box" in like new condition with a good discount. Around $450. I thought I just made one of my smarter tech purchases in life. However, upon turning on the device I discovered that it still had the previous users login credentials. And regardless of what Best Buy's policy is regarding customers own responsibilities with returns....this deserves a BIG SHAME ON YOU BEST BUY for not simply resetting the device to "factory". Moving forward...setup is a breeze on The Freestyle. It's as easy as setting up a new TV. But then the problems started. The device started turning off on its own randomly. 2hrs, 1hr, 10min etc. A call into Samsung service was handled by a representative that was very professional. In not so many words she said that there was not any software upgrades to fix the issue that I was having and that I should basically stand around like an idiot and try to capture the device turning off in a video. Really???? I then tried it out with an Apple TV connected to it via HDMI and it was no better. So here I am sharing with you my experience with BB and Samsung. Not sure what to do as I really like this product. I did recommend this to potential buyer but just beware of what you might have to deal with with Best Buy and Samsung.

Excellent Product. Wish it was brighter. The projector is white so it gets dirty easily. UI is little slow when navigating through apps. Speakers sound clear but not loud even on max volume. WiFi through my phone is excellent. It does get slightly hot so you have to make sure it’s vented properly. Overall satisfied. would buy again.

Love the flexibility of the product!! I wish it could project a little brighter as you have to have the room pretty dark to view well. Also the sound quality is okay. But the picture itself is pretty sharp, and flexibility is unbeatable.

Its not perfect and the Keystone adjustment is occasionally wonky, but its a fantastic portable solution that has led to movie nights outside, on the roof and even had a smash tournament. Don’t regret the purchase at all.

Bought the Samsung Projected to add to a room in our home. We had other Samsung tv’s and when I would turn on the projector with the remote, it would turn off the other Samsung tv in other room. The micro HDMI did not work with the HDMI products I wanted to stream. (The cord was bought separately.) And lastly, I thought with the Freestyle it would have a battery reserve, but it has to be connected at all times. Concepts was nice, but I guess it was not for what I wanted it for.

I like having a projector in my room for casual use. I got this one to replace a cheap projector that I’ve had for awhile. Some things I love about this projector: * automatically focuses and keystones on walls or ceilings! * Fans are quiet. At least, much quieter than my cheaper projector. * Built in media playing capabilities. You can stream using apps like Hulu or Plex without any additional hardware! * Mini HDMI input allows you to plug in your gaming console. The only problem I’ve had with it so far is the built in Samsung software is pretty slow. It sometimes takes a few seconds to respond to controller input. It’s annoying enough for me to remove a star. Otherwise it’s perfect for my use case!

Great in a dark room, not so great in a bright room / easy to setup and easy to Bluetooth other speakers to enhance the sound - we love that we can move it around from room to room and waxy in ceiling or wall at night - not that good for daytime

This model does not have battery and cannot be operated without plugging in. The FEATURES section is not correctnin stating that "External Battery Compatible Now the big screen experience is as mobile as you are. Just grab The Freestyle with an external battery pack and go. With no outlet needed, you’re free to watch your favorite shows, play games or whatever you want, anywhere you want indoors or out.²" This is NOT correct. Good quality. Need to be tech savvy to setup and operate as the connectivity is a little clunky.

Good projector, very portable and picture is good. If I can find it for cheaper I would buy, I'm not sure about paying full price again

Got it, set it up and loved it. OS was user friendly for set up and overall use. The fact that you get to choose the desired angle for projection, and the super small portable size were the biggest selling points. Unfortunately, that’s as far as I got with experimenting and testing. Went to use it later on that same evening and it was completely dead. No power, no response, nothing at all. Because it’s out of stuck pretty much everywhere, I had to do a full return. Might try again later on, might not. Kind of bummed that I ended up with a lemon.

First off they told me it had a battery and hdmi was bluetooth…. What battery? the minute it’s unplugged it shuts off am i tripping? The HDMI thanks best buy telling me about the hdmi had me thinking I could hook up a console and play outside boy was I wrong. This thing is garbage please dont waste your money on this item. The UI is a lag factory the 1080p isnt sharp. the speakers are super low. Dont get fulled by the HDMI cause its not traditional its a neat little package but its not… Not sure what drugs I was using when purchasing this but I did sign a restocking fee great get to pay bestbuy for letting me leave this review. Im really not sure what the other reviews say that give it such high scores maybe its grandparents buying their grand kids stuff and they like it at first then realize you cant do anything with it.. Will be returning ASAP First
