But is the best way to watch true UHD HDR 4K video since there is very little programming out there so far.

The apps load quickly and seem to work fine. The build quality was not the best. The USB cover on the front did not sit flush with the rest of the player. I did not care for the curved front of the player.

It does not play the DTS MASTER AUDIO as coded on disc for the ultimate surround sound. It's a fair unit but not the best for today's standards. There are not many brands that have it anyway.

very cheap unit

It is so light that it is mostly made of plastic and minimal parts. It just 'feels' cheaply made. It was easy to hook up, but I found it difficult to get the apps working. When I first loaded a blu ray disc it lost the video signal and I had to reboot the unit. This happens pretty much every time I load a new disc (maybe it's a bug). What is worst is the remote control. It must be made with 10 year old kid hands in mind, as it is so tiny I have trouble using it. I've already ordered a Panasonic replacement and will be returning this unit shortly.

Not Worth The Money

Should have gotten something cheaper. Can't simply hit the remote to fast forward/skip. Brings up an on screen menu.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ok, so first off, let me say i am giving this 4 stars, not because of bestbuy. Ill explain in my review. So my player got delivered today. This thing is a BEAST! I hooked it up to my new onkyo 4k home theater system. Hooking up was easy, 1 hdmi to the tv, the other to the HTS. The picture is AMaZING! And thats was just on a bluray, not even a UHD disc. The sound was amazing too. Best part is the bluray knows weather i have the HTS on and play sound threw that or the tv. So thats pretty awsome. As for the 4 stars instead of 5. The remote on this thing is dinky, like its soooo small. I dont get why they didnt just use a normal size remote, this thing will get lost way to easily. Deff a buy if you can afford it. I did enough black friday shopping for me and family that this thing only costed me 1.15 after all my reward certificates. Very VERY Happy wiht it. Cant wait for kingsman which comes out on UHD this sunday the 14th.

It will also play 3D and Blu-ray and standard 4K HD. A standard 4K Blu-ray 3D player will not play the new 4K Ultra HD DVDs. If you have a new 4K Ultra HD TV with HDR - This player is a must.
