They tried to get Cutesy with the Remote, it is very very small. (They are going with the Apple "smaller is always better" theory). It is soo small they did not have room to put "Fast Forward" OR "Fast Rewind" Buttons on it. Instead they Crudely integrated those functions into the "Chapter Stop" Buttons. You have to Rapidly press the Chap Stop buttons to start the FF or FR function, then you have to keep hitting it for 2X, 3X, 4X,, and so on, then you have to quickly reach to an awkwardly located button to hopefully stop it at the right spot... if you mis-time the Button presses.. BOOM you just jumped to the next or previous Chapter. Basic FF and FR is a key feature on a remote. Gimmicky Extra Small stripped down remotes do not belong a $400.00 Blu-Ray player. The Player its self works fine but the onscreen menus seem a bit inefficient. Samsung is a great brand, this works fine but I would never, ever buy a player with this lame remote. Any Samsung device I buy from now on will have to show a picture of the remote before I will buy it. Too, bad... I would have given this a 5 star rating... but that remote... (P.S. I hooked up my PS3 just so I could still use it to play Blu-Rays. I only use this for 4K HDR Discs). Sluggo

the blu ray player is wonderful. I love how most Samsung, if not all communicate with each other. Great features, great remote.

This replaced my old CD player and what a difference! Watched a concert and was amazed.

Compact, sleek, unobtrusive, simple to set up and use. But best, is that it performs as promised. Resolution is spectacular.

3D tvs and 3D dvd players will be going away soon. I purchased this to go with one of the last 3D tvs to show all my 3D movies.

If you want true 4K video, then you will love this UHD BDP.

This player has two HDMI ports, one for audio, one for video (if that is what you need). A great overall player for BD and 4K BD.

It plays all my DVDs that I have. I can only say good about it. It works well. The hand control is small and easy to operate.

I regret that I have not use the device enough to form an informed decision, but this app has been hounding me and I wanted to get it off my back. Sorry to be so honest.

I purchase this product because HDR. Some movies on HDR looks dim, but some like Tarzan, Independence Day loos just awesome.

With this you don't need to use smart features in your TV.its all in this unit for streaming and you tube and Netflix ect.

Don't waste your money if you have XBOX one. I compared the quality and they were almost the same. I also have an ultra 4k sony 65 inch tv. Did not see a large difference

Great 4k player it allows me to play from DVD to 4k without needing multiple players I just wish there was more 4k titles

I bought this a Christmas gift. It has everything the recipient needs and then some.

I have a Samsung 65" UHD TV and this player pairs really well and has a fairly easy interface to deal with. Loved the sale price as well....thanks Deal of the Day!!

This is a good bluray player. I would recommend it. Although with the Xbox one S being so close in price I wish I would have bought that instead. More bang for your buck
