I have to lay the bottles at a 45 degree angle for the drawer to close. And it also doesn't have a slide-out top that you can rest a laundry basket on, like other stands have.

By being a senior citizen I maybe a slight bit biased to that old school heavy steel built washer/dryer, however I have found this lighter built machine is so much easier to maneuver making it ideal for aged individuals and physically challenged persons .
