I ordered pedestals for both my washer and dryer at the same time. One was delivered 4 months after the first one. The delivery team installed the first one. The delivery team that delivered the second one refused to install it. After waiting MONTHS to get the second pedestal, I was told to call BestBuy to schedule installation.

Less bending over, works as intended

I don't use these for storage as they aren't tall enough to hold the bottle of detergent, but they could work for other things if I had the need. I mainly purchased them to lift the washer/dryer off the ground a bit. I had to spend a fair amount of extra time leveling and re-leveling after the units were in place but it all worked in the end even though I ran out of travel on the screws due to the slight slope that is common in most utility rooms but it was level enough and hasn't caused any problems.

I purchased my washer and dryer before purchasing the pedestal. It was not easy. You have to position your washer or dryer a certain way as to damage the steel. It was hard work but I love it now that it's all set up. The storage is pretty roomy. The average laundry product containers will fit vertically but larger containers will have to be put on their sides.

We ordered 2 of them and after unboxing and getting ready to install, we noticed that one of the plastic support brackets was broken. No big deal, or so we thought. BestBuy will not send us a replacement part, but they want us to take the dryer off the pedestal, box it up and ship it back.
